Man win or lose tonight, you have to give it to the Defense. Top 3 CBs go down they toughed it out. The defense didnt lose the game. Bad decisions and Bad coaching cost Dallas this game. 2 late stops after CBs went down and Romo gives it right back. 3 guys in particular stood out to me

Ware is a beast a man amongst boy. The guy is in a league in his own when it comes to passrushing.

Lee is going to be the field general by the end of the yr. He's already making the assignment adjustments. I saw a leader in the making tonight.

Jenkins, The guy is back. He had a solid game and showed heart in coming back and playing aggresive.

Ill say this now and im sure ill hear it from some people. But this team dont need Newman and his salary. Dump the dead weight and roll with Jenkins, Scandrick, Ball, McCan. If you need insurance pick somebody up. Tonight this defense showed more heart then any Dallas D has since the 90s teams when they were young.

I dont care about Romo or Garrett right now. Leave the Blaming for another thread but this thread is to applaud the guys who left it all out on the field tonight.

The run D was impressive.

I really liked what I saw with the run D.

The pass defense is a hot mess. Between injuries and intermittent pressure from the DL, it's gonna be a series-by-series basis all season.

They allowed 17 points on the road to a Super Bowl favorite.

They basically scored a touchdown.

They made two HUGE stops in the last 6 minutes of a tie game, including a forced turnover in Jets territory

They were awesome, my hat is off

The injuries in the secondary really slowed down our ability to blitz. Before Scandric went down, we were applying a lot more pressure to Sanchez against a pretty good o-line. We have to keep our glass CB's healthy for this defense to really shine.

The D played incredible. With the cast of receivers the Jets had, and the injuries we had to our secondary, they did about as good as anyone would expect.

Defense was very good, they all showed gameness which is all you can ask for.

Better than expected, but the Jets don't exactly have Bob Hayes out there. I worry about a team that can put speed on the field against us.

That said, the defense came to play tonight and made the kinds of plays that help you win. I'll take tonights effort every night this year, and if I can get some players healthy, like my chances.

santonio holmes and brad smith are speed. holmes was a ghost

I'm upgrading my projection from a top 5 defense to a top 3. I was impressed. I was impressed with the OL too, when they jell, watch out.

Before the season started someone said the offense would have to carry the defense. I thought it was just the opposite last night. I have to think Wade is sitting back and having a little chuckle to himself.

they played well....but the TD before the end of the first half...cannot happen...simply cannot happen. You have to OBSESS over dominance. Had a chance to pitch a shutout in the first half...and they did not want it bad enough.

I agree I was really, really pleased with the run D...our backup corners need a whole lot more polish before they are ready for prime time imho.

i agree. that prevent crap before the half and at ends of games is stupid. Your defense is good enough to hold throughout the game, y not trust them at critical points as well?
