Appreciation thread

This loss sucks but we have a good young team. The sky is the limit.

Sounds a lot like 2014. Each season is precious and this season is not a precursor to the next. Don't want to become next year's champions. We had our opportunity...AGAIN and we blew it, plan and simple!

Sorry guys, if you are purely a downer, stay off a pride in the boys OP...

Its very hard for me and I know a lot of us to take this loss..but these young guys played a good game..key mistakes and a few calls..change this from a loss to a win. You have to give credit no poor loser here. Just know we got a future to be proud of.

There is no appreciation deserved. They lost to a depleted team at home after having two weeks rest. It's one of the worst losses I can remember as a Cowboys fan, right there with the 07 Giants.

I agree. Hard loss.. Still feel better team lost this one..calls early to me were game changers..nothing to do but look forward. with that I'll now finish this bottle.

Top of my list are Zeke and Lee... Honorable mention to Witten.

But overall, this season was an EPIC FAIL

Thanks for another epic fail. Glad I controlled myself and didn't spend 600$ on tickets , 400 for a flight and 300$ for a hotel.

We do need a .gif of Zeke disappearing from under Clay Matthews leaving him airborn and just grasping for air....................can even see the look on his face in slow mo......

I don't appreciate this season. It was a failure. It's great we have a good QB, but we've had a good QB here for a long time.

Until the team demonstrates the ability to build a defense and Red demonstrates he can minimize the mental errors that always screw us, I am unappreciative.

It's hilarious all the fans trying to make themselves feel better by saying how good the offense is and will continue to be. We have had a championship caliber offense here for a while now barring injuries.

Shoot me in the face, it always sucks to loose in the playoffs, but if we have to loose this game, at least it wasn't 31 to 3.

This is the NFL, and you can not build a team that is solid everywhere due to salary cap restraints, but what we can do is keep drafting very well, and this team was knocking on the door because this franchise has done just that, drafted very well.

We will see what transpires with Romo and the cap, implications. I am by know means and have never confessed to being a capologist, maybe others will chime in on this,, but if Tony were to retire, would that unleash our 2017 hit?

Could he not then decide to come back, while relieving the Cowboys of his cap burden, but be basically a FA, and free to go where he wants to go?

That's big money off the books, this team is moving in the right direction, I'm the type of person that likes to put the bad behind me and focus on getting better, that money can go a very long way in building this defense the right way.

Immediate top shelf changes... Mo has to go,, time to make a radical change in the secondary,, I would tear it down, saving Brown, Jones, maybe Wilcox, just strip it if possible, again salary cap ramifications, but this area needs to be the priority IMO, even more than outside pass rush/DE, but that would be number 2.

LBer core will have a total different look next season with a Jaylon presence, we have a lot to look forward to guys,, deep with our bench in G and N,, nobody knows how to spell their names, including me, so G and N.. lol

It always sucks loosing, but lets suck it up my little butter cups... this is the NFL, the odds are always stacked against you,, some fans are jumping ship, not me, thats over reacting a bit.

I was born a Cowboys fan, and I will die one
.
Win loose or draw.. I see the path now, its clear and present, this team will continue to be a presence in post season play, there will be rings forthcoming.

Finding the next QB is no small thing - remember the years between Aikman and Romo?

Yesterday was frustrating, but anyone who says they thought this team would go 13-3 after Romo went down in Seattle is lying. This offseason has to be about building a better defense, but as you suggested that's been a need for several years.

Golden, hey, I'm a fan as well...

Actually, 4-12 was an epic fail. Finding your next QB and winning 13 games is not. It just didn't go as far as we had hoped once we got into the playoffs.
