Williams is a big, powerful defensive tackle who nonetheless can move with speed. He’s extremely quick off of the ball—consistently the first person off of the snap at UNC

What makes Williams so valuable as a 4-3 tackle in Monte Kiffin’s scheme is that he can play either the one-technique or the three-technique, giving the team flexibility with other defenders.

A tad shorter than scouts would prefer but has a stout frame with good overall musculature. Versatile defender who plays with the aggression, physicality and competitiveness teams want at safety. Physical striker who looks to intimidate opponents with big hits. Aggressive use of hands throughout to jam receivers within the first 10 yards and subtly works them throughout the route. A bit stiff when changing directions but shows good acceleration, including a burst to close when the ball is in the air or when a ball-carrier appears to be in position to pull away. Willing to take on and shed blocks from linemen and shows the vision and burst to race past them

Quick off the edge and the type of rusher than can only be contained for so long. Blend of sped and power to penetrate the pocket and pressure the quarterback. Flashes raw power at the point of attack with a sharp punch, appearing stronger than in past years. Has experience dropping in space and has been given coverage responsibilities. Never quits in his pursuit and is tough to stop, can only hope to slow him down. Ferocious hitter and looks for the knockout blow. Will line up as a stand up linebacker and rush from different angles

4 Alvin Bailey, OG, Arkansas 6-3 #315

http://i1267.***BLOCKED***/albums/jj559/tomsautos/ALVIN_BAILEY_zpsa4e21440.jpg

While Bailey typically lines up at right guard, Arkansas frequently switches its linemen for strong-side and weak-side responsibilities, so Bailey has experience on the left side, as well.

A naturally massive man, Bailey shows impressive quickness off the snap and can knock defenders off the ball in the running game. He's athletic enough to handle blocking on the move - a requirement in an Arkansas scheme that often requires the guards to pull and block at the second level.

Long-armed, athletic build well suited to playing the edge. Unique combination of size and overall athleticism. Good initial quickness when dropping back in pass protection. Strong upper body and heavy hands, which he uses to latch onto his opponent and often control him throughout the play. Gains depth on his initial kick-step and possesses the arm length and understanding of blocking angles to cut off rushing angles. Quick enough to recover when beaten initially due to his athleticism and arm length. Flashes some nastiness. Will knock defenders to the ground when he gets the opportunity. Good bloodlines. An ascending talent whose best football might be ahead of him

A patient runner with good eyes, allowing blocks to develop with natural running instincts. Balanced runner with the fluid change of direction ability to make sharp cuts, sidestep defenders and elude would-be tacklers. He runs with deceiving power and won't go down easy

Large frame that he uses as both a receiver and blocker. Gets his nose dirty as a run blocker and can be mistaken for an offensive linemen with his ability in the trenches to redirect and overpower defenders. Adjusts well to passes with better body control than expected. Nice job selling routes and working hard to get open. Tough to bring down after the catch to pick up extra yards. Large, reliable hands with good focus to track and length to pluck. Good experience with 40 career starts for a championship program.

Unless I missed something we don't have a 7th round pick this year. I'm not sure about the players you have picked, but I do like your originality. I could see us going for the Alabama tight end but it won't be in the 7th round unless we acquire picks in a trade down..

Excellent mock. If Cooper is gone, this would be an excellent alternative.

You'll have to make some type of trade down in one of the rounds to get the 7th rounder.
