Based on what the Cowboys have done and not done this offseason and based on the current coaching staff, here goes.

Two or three more FA signings before the draft, 1) Tyler Lockett WR (a vet presence and would be much less expensive than Allen, should be a 1 year deal with the option for 2) plus wouldn't be surprised to see Tolbert traded during the draft. 2) Jedrick Wills OT/OG (could see them move Steele to RG or insert Wills at RG, Wills is a natural RT but they worked out Saahdiq Charles RG so he is in the mix. 3) Asante Samuels Jr CB (probably an after draft signing if they miss out on one early in the draft.

Draft:
12. Still believe the Cowboys will trade down as don't see McMillian or Jeanty falling out of top ten/eleven. See either Chargers or Chiefs willing to move up for one of the two TEs or even Steelers moving up for Dart at QB. I'll stick with Chargers giving up #22, #55, #86, #125 for #12, #174, #211 and Jalen Tolbert WR. Signing of Parris Campbell with Mingo, Flournoy, Turpin and a most likely draft pick makes Tolbert expendable.

22. Omarion Hampton RB North Carolina - take to the house speed, not afraid of contact, strong, quick feet, great cuts, soft hands for receiving, good size, good comparison to Ladainian Tomlinson. Plus side is new coach wants to run the ball a lot so this being the first pick is not out of the question. Offense will come first this draft.

Trade: Dallas trades #44 and #86 to Jaguars for #36, #107.

36. Emeka Egbuka WR Ohio St. - can play any WR spot, great routes, great speed, works to help his QB, catches with hands, smart player, very reliable

55. Shavon Revel Jr. CB East Carolina - if not for injury during the season, would be a sure fire 1st round pick, size, speed, length are all great

76. Tyler Booker OG Alabama - probably a 1st round or top of 2nd round guy but every year, 2 or 3 guys projected high fall to the later rounds for one reason or another so this is my guy, would start day on at RG or LG if they decide to shake up the OL and move Tyler Smith to LT and Guyton to RT. Will it happen probably not but it is only a mock.

107. Alfred Collins DT Texas - great run game stopper

125. Kobe King ILB Penn St. -

149. D.J. Giddens RB Kansas St. -

204. Thomas Fidone II TE Nebraska

217. Tyler Baron Edge Miami

239. Caleb Ransaw S Tulane

247. Cam'Ron Jackson DT Florida

Me likey

It would be a great draft…but very ambitious. I don’t think a single player will be available where you have them going after Hampton. Some are universally ranked a full round (at least) where you have them going. Ransaw and Jackson in the 7th is crazy

The absolute farthest Hampton will fall is pick 20. The Broncos will most certainly take him.It wouldn't surprise me to see them trade up to get him.
