Wanted Dean, Lloyd or Linderbaum.

I'm curious to see how both of those players' careers go.

Dean has all the intangibles. Just seems ahead of the curve mentally. The floor seems high, but not so sure about the ceiling...hence the low 1st or high 2nd round grade.

Cine will light you up, but has holes in his game.

Guess we'll see

Dean is very much a Zach Thomas type - undersized, history of being banged up and doesn't test well, but he has instincts like few others and a relentless motor. Hope by some miracle that he can slide to 56.

Lloyd is a good player I would have been happy with, but he’s a bit on the older side to me. But that’s really nit-picky.

Cine? I like the way he plays with such aggressiveness, but he’d be a reach at 24 with who else was on the board.

If this is the case I am honestly even more satisfied with the pick of Smith.

Outside of Kyle Hamilton no safeties appealed to me and while I would have liked Lloyd, the Cowboys have to see if Jabril Cox can play before using another 1st on a LB.

My doubts on Cine....the Boys don't really value S that high of a draft pick. Lloyd or Johnson would have been my pick.

Based on how they identified and attacked needs, I think it would have been a DE or WR if Smith had been gone.
