So you are saying that making an NFL roster doesn't hold any weight?

I mean, I get what you are saying and mostly agree that the 3rd QB is generally irrelevant in terms of team success.

But I don't think that's the standard to be called an "NFL player". IMO practice squad guys are still NFL player quality. Even though those quys are the elite of the elite, it just shows how much difference there is between a guy who can participate in the NFL versus a guy who is a starter.
