Archer: Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith is expected to do more in practice today but he is dealing with a hip flexor strain in addition to the back tightness he has been working through. Left guard Ronald Leary has been cleared to practice after suffering a concussion last week.

Smiths somewhat limited status is significant heading into a tough 12 day stretch. I'm guessing the hip flexor could be related to the stiff back. It doesn't help that Chaz Green can't stay healthy to save his life. Not looking forward to Emmett Cleary taking snaps at LT at any point this season.

We should trade him. The dude is injury prone.

We should be able to get 2 first rounders for him. Make that 3.

Tyron's a beast but I guess he's actually human after all -- who knew?

Pro football is evidently a rough game . . . who knew that as well?

Anyhoo, let's hope he manages to recover from his injuries real soon.

As I understand it, Tyron is scheduled to play, despite his woes. I'm hoping his status doesn't change as well. He's impossible to replace.

I feel like Smith is getting old while he's young. I hope it's just something minor.

Hopefully so . . . I'm guessing that perhaps even Superman gets a few dings now and then, huh?

He's so big and strong, it hard to imagine him vulnerable to getting banged up like everyone else.

Shawn Merriman fell off the face of the earth. Bo Jackson too. JJ Watt. They all looked like superman clones and at least 2 of those 3 careers cut short with the last one not looking promising either.

I say just have Tyron skip parts of practice and just do walkthroughs.

Rather have him at 100% than banged up.
