@Hardline Nice find! Thanks for posting.

I actually like that design. I think it is cool looking. I think it would have been even better with a hole in the roof.

A Pink Floyd concert and light show in that stadium would have rocked.
I'm fine with what the stadium turned out to be but if I could go back and change anything I'd go with Steers over Cowboys.

Steers!
........Don't see any horns on your head, broke back. :)

Architect’s 1960 drawing of a proposed 70,000-seat domed stadium in Arlington, Texas. The hope was to entice a MLB team to Dallas area and venue would also be home to Cowboys of NFL and maybe the AFL Texans (today's Chiefs). But the $9.5 million project never did materialize.

Do you realize (corporate name) stadium is a place that opposing teams love playing in.A place to be seen and hang out. And occasionally pay attention to the actual game?
I played football on grass and dirt. Not carpet.
Not a big fan of naming a stadium after a company...JJ should have named it Tom Landry Field.

My high school football stadium is more of an actual football stadium.
Indeed. High school fields are still the best. I like seeing mud fly on the field. High school bands playing at halftime. The smell of hot dogs/hot chocolate on a cold winters day bundled up in a blanket.

That's real football.

I like my football stadiums to be like actual football stadiums.

You mean with a football field and goal posts at either end? Seats surrounding the playing field? Locker rooms under the seating for each team?

Is this your vision for a football field?

Steers!

You think the Cowboys are more like neutered male cows and thus that name appeals to you?
