The way I see it, the class of the NFC looks like this:

1. Dallas
2. Green Bay
3. NY Giants
4. Washington

Seattle, Tampa Bay and Detroit? Nope..

I think Dallas and Green Bay are far ahead of Ny and Wash. Washington is playing great but way over their head, imo. NY is getting lucky, in lots of people's opinion ;)

we had better destroy the lions this year... just look at what they have done against the east so far.

If Washington continues to play the way they did today, the best two teams in the NFC are in the east.

Only if Washington plays Detroit every game. I'll admit they played well, but the Lions torrid playcalling and execution had a lot to do with that outcome too.

Randel El and Cooley were Washington's only real receiving threats and Detroit still gave them huge cushions all game. Detroit's offensive line looked like they had Winston Justice syndrome all game, I've rarely seen a more pathetic performance.

I don't care who they played, you beat an NFL team like that it's impressive. They've had the run game and defense going, if Jason Campbell finds consistency, they are absolutely the 2nd best team in the NFC.

What's funny is how well their OL is playing.

You'd think that they wouldn't move the ball at all with the sorry condition their OL is in.

Take the time to explain please.

Certainly I favor my team, but I am far from a homer, or just blinded by the colors.

4 games in the Lions were considered a top 5 passing and (I believe overall)offense in the NFL... that was held to 3 points.

Oh, get off Skins' back. He's always around.

The Skins looked great today even if the Lions did implode. I think they're definitely playing like a top four team in the NFC.

I'm just hoping we can gain back some credibility from the AFC.

Well they barely beat a very bad dolphins team, they looked weak against a pathetic eagles team, the new york game was good but still a loss ( I think that if they were a top level team they would have found a way to win one like this), and the Detroit game was great.

Don't get me wrong I think the Commanders are good this year but saying they are better than the Packers at this point or any other good 2cnd level team is just premature, IMO. Im not sure the Lions are as good as advertised, they have show some serious weaknesses in the past few weeks before this game so its not like they were a proven winner.

I think the Commanders are going to be good and probably get better but just becuase they beat the Lions today does not mean they are the second best team in the NFC...competing for the 4th best sure...maybe 3rd...but second best...nah...

So thats why I think they are not the second best team...

I'm not on his back, I said welcome back. This board has been minus Foreskin fans ever since they couldn't get that 1yrd with 3 cracks at it at home. The HogsLegends cat still showed up though.

We've given up four touchdowns in four games, that is legit. If our defense continues to dominate the way they have been I don't see how you can say we arent one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the NFC
