Right now I see many underclassmen who are just being duped and end up being day 2 picks because frankly they were not ready and the extra year of school could very well make a big difference. As I said though these are the choices they make and will have to live with.
I agree with you. There is a lot of bad advice out there. Another thing to consider is that Texas may not be that great a team next year. It may have been difficult for Charles to show off his talent in college to really change his draft status. I don't really see Charles as making a bad choice. Now Jermichael Finley's decision really had me scratching my head. He still seems very raw at tight end.
