It seems to me like maybe they are !
Signing their own before FA, then the restructures to free up $$.
I know Fish thinks they are.

I dont know what type of shopping they are planning but it has to be more than last year lol, and more
than their previous usual of bargain bin players, and think waiting till after the draft is over.

All signs, seem to point towards them maybe getting at least 1 big $ guy, and some higher quality guys to fill holes
they think they cant get in the draft.

I do hope they draft a RB as opposed to getting one of the FA RB's available now.

Most of the combine interviews were DEF players, so I think mainly they may use FA for offense?
Maybe a WR?
Cleveland has said now they are keeping Myles.
But I think Crosby from raiders is possibly available.

Are there any good FA you guys think they should go for?

Yes, on the surface it seems like maybe the are going to make a splash. Getting Osa signed, whether people like it or not, sends a good signal to the team. And if they are going to redo Dak's deal, then all hell could break loose.

However, even if they redo Dak's deal, they could still save that money and add it to next year's cap. Just a thought. So it helps this year, and helps next year as well.

The moves that they have made thus far are all pretty much expected. Osa, Hoffman, J. Thomas, tendering Turpin. Restructuring CD was also always part of the plan...I honestly would love to see them do something with Steele and maybe even Hooker and/or Wilson. They don't inspire much confidence and they are expensive.

How they handle Micah and guys like Dowdle and Golston will be interesting. As well as Tank and Lewis.

Dan Moore Jr LT, Will Hernandez RG, and one big name defender, if we could afford someone like Slay or Nick Bolton. Add a decent WR2 and maybe a RB if Dowdle wants too much money.

Draft DT, another RB, and DE in the first 3 rounds (whether in that order or not); use the four 5th rounders to get a NT and shore up the secondary with a couple corners and a safety.

Remember "selectively aggressive"...........certain players they are targeting and aggressively try to sign, even if it means paying market value, rather than lowballing and walking away.

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE them bring in the Cowboys killer in RB Aaron Jones maybe even Chubb if possible one of them would be cool especially if Chubb has a bounce back season, Jones would just be funny because he always runs all over us, and BOLTON or Green law

Giving Micah a contract extension would create more cap space for this off-season.
That’s what Jane said as well. She said with him resigning creates another 8 million plus they’re restructuring dak. We could have almost 40 million to work with. Ceedee said he restructured because he wants to win. The players are pushing to make something happen.

Lol lol ceedee really did us a big favor there!! Thanks for the help lol

This FO has to find at least 3 starters in the draft ( tall order) and sign two FAs that are above average and NOT past their prime, just to be competitive in the EAST.

The current cycle of missing on picks either because of ineptitude or injuries has to end

I think they will sign several players with history tied to the coaches

- RG WILL HERNANDEZ
- DE/DT DEMARCUS WALKER
- LB JACK SANBORN
- DT LEKI FOTU
- WR KEENAN ALLEN

At this point no they're trying to maneuver money so they can sign guys like Micah Parsons and also sign guys like OSA bring back Hoffman and Turpin and Goodwin etcetera etcetera they're trying to just figure out ways at this point in the offseason to start getting their own house in order.. I mean if we see them now quickly in the next two weeks get Parsons signed restructure another couple players or even release a guy like steel and free up more money than we know maybe a move is coming but right now I wouldn't get your hopes up they're just doing their due diligence and starting earlier this year which is a good thing but I wouldn't read anything into it yet.... All I see is them trying to targeted the 17 free agents they have on their own team and bring back the ones they feel are important right now and the league year doesn't really start till next week right so they got some time to maneuver...
