Didn’t Jerry say it’s to make the players understand the additional scrutiny they’re under because they’re Dallas Cowboy?. If they didn’t notice, attract their attention, then they wouldn’t understand. Every team plays in front of large, noisy crowds with plenty of media present. This “additional” attention is designed to be noticed by players by the very person that endorses it.

It's not just Jerry though. He gets a lot of dysfunctional assistance from his son Stephen and I am wondering if McClay is really that great at player drafting and sourcing free agent acquisitions. No doubt he has an eye for talent but don't we have more than enough talented and brittle prima donna's on our team?
