Are Nate Newton's radio appearances making anyone else a bigger fan of him?

I love to hear him. He seems to have a wealth of knowledge about the game and he's very funny. I'm too young to remember Nate's heyday, but I know that was a key cog in the championship runs. Therefore I was a fan of him by his association with some of the great Cowboys' teams, but now I'm starting to become a huge fan of him as a personality.

I love listening to him. I don't always agree with what he says but he's very entertaining and I look forward to when he's on the radio.

I've followed Nate's entire career. I listened to him do interviews while with the Cowboys. I remember the local tv station did a segment on him as a FA, calling him the Kitchen (since the fridge was in Chicago). I watched him on a sports show that use to feature Galloway and others which took place at Hooters. He's always entertaining to listen to. He keeps it real.

he's entertaining but i don't put much stock into what he says unless it's about the o-line or weed.

I wouldn't say I hang on every word, no. However, I saw him on the talking picture box this past wkend with Brad Sham and he's lost a ton of weight.

BTW, where did his son (RB) end up playing ball and how's he doing? Anybody know?

i have always liked nate, i remember when he first came to the cowboys and coach landry had him pulling on some plays in run blocking, Man, oh man, you oould tell right away he was a player, even john madden said so

i like his interviews and thoughts, he tries to keep it real, and to me, when a player that was a pro football player, he knows football inside and out, can give a good view point on what he sees in practices and games.

His son is going to UT. His son is kinda small for a RB.
