Are the 49ers for real?

I have no logical reason to think they won't win it all this season, but I'm always suspect on any team being this good this early. in fact, this may be the year when some NFC team that nobody is counting on smacks them in the mouth in the playoffs. That outside team, to me, are the Rams. Watch them sneak in and knock them out of the playoffs.

The 49ers are on a mission. Destroy Philly on the way to the SB and they are taking no prisoners along the way. They have a real shot at 20-0.

I honestly think we will never see a team go 20-0.

Or any team go unbeaten all the way to the SB and win it.

After the SB in 2007, the Patriots all talked about how mentally drained they were trying to stay unbeaten to the end. That is why I do not see it happening.

Philly wins ugly and are still getting better. 49ers win pretty, but are tough, and are hitting on all cylinders from the start. Should be a good debate all season who is better.

Yes, they're for real. They're the best team in the NFC. I'm still not sure if they're better than the Chiefs, but we may very well find out. A 49ers/Chiefs Super Bowl wouldn't come as a total shock.

SF is the better overall team but Mahoones is just so good he could make the difference; but honestly as I see it now SF wins that one fairly easily.

Injuries...will be the only thing that stops them.

You're probably right, thought a lot can change between now and then. Here's a mini-poll for you, and for anyone else who sees it.....
...
Super Bowl 58 turns out to the the 49ers versus the Chiefs. What do you do?
...
1. Root for the Chiefs
2. Root for the 49ers
3. Go fishing
4. Spend the day playing guitar.
...
My answer is #4. What's yours?

guys have obviously bought into the coaching. there's trust and support.

They remind me of Dallas 2016 when Dak came in. It's a good team, They're solid in the trenches, can't deny that.

btw, saw this interview with Randy Gregory. He sounds good. I'm glad he has his mental health issues in check and can go out there and play

Yes.
And they're certainly real to the cowboys...more like nightmarish.

I have a foot in both of these camps.

On one hand, looking at the 49ers schedule, it's a bit cupcake IMO. It gets a little tougher for them in November, but it's hardly Murderer's Row.
On the other hand, it's hard to sustain winning in the NFL. Eventually you have a bad day.

With all that said, they look damn good, which pains me to say because I really can't stand that team, but facts are facts. Will be interesting to see it unfold. I'd like to see a game where Purdy has to put the team on his back.

That comment didn’t age well

Obviously they are for real. Look at their roster. People want to beat them up over the Cleveland game. But it was on the road against the leagues top defense coming off a bye week. They lost CM and Deebo yet still had a 43 yard FG for the win. It was a valiant effort and not the kind of loss that diminishes them.
