Some Skins fans were saying that Campbell had a good game today.

Is that a case of some low expectations, or what?:D
Did you watch the game? He did have a good game. Not a great game, but a good one. 65% completions, 7 YPA, 242 yards, no turnovers. Of course, you can bring up zero touchdowns, but that wasn't Campbell. That was Sellars dropping the only pass that Zorn let Campbell throw into the endzone. That was Zorn running on every first down in the redzone. That was Moss's silly fumble. Campbell couldn't have done any more to get Tds.

he did ok. not good, not bad. the struggle falls completely on the redzone offense(the team, which is worse than just having a bad qb).

I'm saying our coach clearly needs to be relieved of his playcalling duties. He's an idiot.

It's hard for him to throw TDs when Zorn decides that Portis should instead.

How you can butt kiss that sucky team of yours, Zorn or not, is really kind of sad!

9 freaking points? 9 freaking points against one of the worst teams in the NFL?

You deserve every bit of your team...you derserve it!

I watched the entire game. The Rams have zero weapons on offense outside of Jackson, who had a nice day. On D, they never came close to harassing Campbell, as the Skins seemed to convert every big third down when they needed to (save for the last drive). But something weird happens to that team when they start sniffing the endzone. Cooley, who catches everything between the 20s, suddenly disappears, and the wideouts are too smurf-like, which means the DBs don't have to worry about the jumpball.

Hey a Cowboys fan who actually watched the game.

Jim Zorn happens. His playcalling in the redzone is abysmal. Can't put any of the blame this game on Campbell really, 2 dropped TD's and a fumble by Moss, despite leading us into the redzone routinely.

Which would make sense if Campbell were throwing INTs, but he's not. It's not Campbell it's Zorn. Only two times did Zorn give Campbell a chance to throw a TD. The first was dropped by Sellars. On, the second there was poor protection, and Campbell smartly threw it away. Campbell has given Zorn absolutely zero reason to play conservatively, and yet we just run, run, run, kick.

I'm not buttkissing my team. I'm criticizing the parts of them that deserve criticism, and defending the parts that played well. I'm sorry that your level of football analysis rises to "blame everything on the QB."

It's all good, man. Your team is just as good as the Pats are....so be proud.

Give me one reason why you say that. This is not a QB who is making a lot of mistakes. If he were, then I would understand limiting the playbook. This falls on Zorn, and his childish desire to "outtrick" teams rather than just letting Campbell sit back in the shotgun where he excels and throw the ball into the endzone.

You are blaming Zorn...but, if you remember, your team sucked just as bad under Gibbs The 2nd coming.
