Are the Cowboys and Giants similar teams?

I've been thinking about this a little off and on today. I'd like to throw this out there and see what you people think. I'll put a few things out there to start it off.

Both have some problems on the OL. I think we may actually be a little better off considering the Giants injuries there.

Eli and Romo are not that different regarding their success. Yes both have different skill sets. And there's no way I'd trade Romo for Eli. But both are capable of going to and winning a SB. Obviously for Eli.

Both teams have very good WRs.

Both teams have good DLs although I'd take the Giants right now even though they are inconsistent and oft injured.

They both have problems at ILB.

And the secondary.

True. The biggest difference is their overall athleticism up front defensively. They are slightly better in the secondary.

The offenses are very similar.

They are similar in that they both are battling for the NFC East title.
I can see what you are saying, but yet they are so different.

Coaching can be a big difference too, and the Giants have basically owned us the past 3 years, and especially in our own stadium.

So we must be a different team this year and beat them, soundly.

I only like Philips in their secondary.

Rolle is a little bit overrated, still good though.

I don't like their Corners.

They're similar in that both teams are highly inconsistent. Both teams can beat the best the NFL has to offer and/or lose to the worst team in the league. You never know what you're going to get week to week from either team. That makes this weekend's matchup even more interesting.
