thats true, but i dont buy into records, you can have a good record and still suck, ie Chiefs. It happens. Im not down on Dallas for winning, but dont get ahead of yourself if you know the teams you beat arent good. You want to compete for the big boys, you have to be consistent. you want to root for mediocrity, Garrett is your boy. Linehan, Callahan and Rod are doing the best they can with what they got, its not my fault the talent on Dallas wasnt used correctly, or that a few people had bad philosophies but the state of the team is, bad teams we can beat, good teams, not so much , yet .

I was happy with the offseaosn i was happy with the draft. I was ok losing to SF and im ok with where Dallas is at, but im not going to get out pom poms until i know this team can compete, from last year to this year Dallas has proven they cant. Lets see what they do to prove it.

Before the Saints game everyone was saying we couldn't beat the Saints because they are a really good team. Now that we have beaten them many are saying they are not that good. It is never ending here. The same old negative ********.

As long as Romo is the QB, they will never be unstoppable because he is more than capable of stopping the offense all by himself. Hopefully he stays healthy and doesn't have anymore really bad games but if you are capable of stopping yourself, then by definition you are not unstoppable.

If we won three super bowls consecutively over the next three seasons many of you guys would be saying "lets tap the brakes" or some equally stupid ******** because "we haven't done anything until we have won four super bowls in a row". The mentality of some people on this board amazes me.

Until we close our teams we are not unstoppable. We had a chance to do that Sunday night and couldn't get a 1st down to run out the clock. The score went from 31-3 to 31-17 in a hurry. Then we had the Dez TD drive. For a couple of minutes the jovial evening got real serious.

Brady threw 3 INT's in two separate AFC Championship games -- he won them both. He stopped the offense all by himself and won.
Roethlisberger had a 26 passer rating in a Super Bowl game - he won the game. He stopped the offense all by himself and won.

That's the problem with this mentality that Romo winos or loses it for us in the future. At some point with this offensive line, the running game, the TOP, the special teams and even the defense, the focus has to change from what Tony does to what the team does.

With a great offensive line and the best running attack in the NFL (so far) the 30-40 throws that Romo used to have to make under high risk conditions are mitigated. I'll take my chances with single coverage on ANY of our receivers over the risk of an interception in this offense.

Good TEAMS win championships.

If we can have this type of performance against seattle, than we can have this discussion. Otherwise it is too early.

Yes, yes..... And as much as I would like to win that game, and feel we have a shot.... It's more about how we play......
But because of Houston's defense, they are the notch, before the notch....

here's to good health.

All of this hype from the media is starting to worry me. I hope the boys are thinking about one game at a time. The Texans are next !! Hope fully we go 4-1.

Yep. No need for the big head. They can be beat any week. Just like every other team.

I love how Marshall is hesitant to say "Unstoppable", even noting his Rams as "Stoppable"....
Micheal Quickly says the Dallas O when he played "Was Unstoppable!"
hahahah, got to love it.

Enjoy, the ride...... if its a 78' Pinto, we'll find out soon enough....

But we do look like a team that enjoys playing with each other, good timing & chemistry..... call me crazy, but I love seeing Dallas back in a classic 4-3. No trickery, just hit you, cause turnovers, and be in the right place at the right time. It will cover a lot of defensive weaknesses.... good fundamentals.

And on the drive you talk about, Dallas got the ball with 6:47 left, picked up a first down (which we supposedly couldn't get) then scored a TD with 3:40 left to close the game out (after our defense got a turn over on downs in 4 plays). Sure there were a couple drives in between there but that touchdown drive you gloss over in your statement does literally what you said the team cannot do.

I agree with you, but I think you could easily make the argument that the Texans are worse than three of the teams we've played, despite their records.

And, not for nothing, teams we've played have 5 wins as well.

Whoops, meant 3 wins for the teams we've beat, not the teams we have played

Will this be typical every week....
We haven't played winning teams, we need to do this next week to prove anything. We need to do thi we need to do that.

Many said we need to beat the Saints to prove we improved...now we did, and it's oh, but they are 1-3, now beat this team.
We lost a game to SF, a game we were supposed to lose. We beat a 1-0 team that beat KC, a team that just took apart NE. We beat a 1-1 team in the Rams for a very hard to do thing, win back to back road games.
We dismantled the Saints which was to be a test.

But now oh, they aren't very good....If we beat houston, a 3-1 team, it will be. well they didn't beat anyone, record not what they are.....give it a rest dudes...

It is not as if I said The Cowboys suck, what I said was before we call them unstoppable let's see the team beat some teams with winning records

The stat would still be the same lol

I think we have a minor miscommunication here given the math we are dealing with haha (I know personally I can do at least to ten on my fingers)

Beat:
Titans: 1-3
Rams: 1-2
Saints: 1-3
Total of 3 wins between the teams we have beaten.

Or maybe the mis-communication was that the 3-1 Texans have only beat teams with a combined 3 wins amongst them? You said "we've" and not "they've" but that would also be true, and would make sense to what your point was. I think either way we're on the same page here.

Bless his heart -- Michael Irvin has got to be just about the biggest homer on TV but I've gotta admit, I love it.
When I saw and heard him say that on NFLN last night, the first thing that came to mind was "yep, it figures." -- lol

Marshall Faulk is a hater.
I agree, when he talks about the Cowboys his face just grimaces. The Boys must have really done him wrong because I heard when he was at SDSU he was a big Cowboy fan....
