How much "illegal tampering" do you think the Cowboys and other teams are doing right now? The legal tampering window begins 3/10/25. With Jerry not being visible to the media, do you think any of our guys are meeting up low key to discuss possible moves to be made with agents etc???

The only thing is if they're caught, or someone is aware of it, it could lead to penalties for our team, please give your thoughts

Probably.

A lot of deals get made this way. 8))

ZERO TAMPERING.

They will literally say they are working on the Osa deal, strike out and then say “Oh shucks! Out of our price range”.

Expect a guy like Carl Lawson, CJ Goodwin or Israel Mukuamu back week one as their big splash.

They will then sign a Tier 3-4 guy in week 3 of free agency all while they refuse to lock Micah up until September.

We then watch Washington, Philly and NY spend millions on millions.

:hammer:

Doubt it very seriously. The Jones boys hate to "set the market". They are too afraid to let an agent know they have interest or to discuss contract value range.

I'm sure they spoke to the agents of their own guys, though, and maybe tier 3 or 4 guys.

Im holding out hope we can get Myles Garrett for 5th and 3rd in 2026.
Too bad philly is already set on giving him that and they will, and they'll only pay him 10 million a year. We'd trade a 1st, 3rd, and 6th this year to get him and would have to pay 20 million!

The answer would be ZIP, ZERO, NONE! The Cowboy GM is better known for going after FA Kmart Specials or Older than Old FAs. JJ doesn't have a clue what tampering is since he waits until nobody has any interest in the type of players he loves to sign. The last time this organization signed a quality FA was back in the 90s. when GMs in the league took a back seat to aggressive owners who didn't have to mention a FA's name, all they had to do was wave crazy money over their heads and the quality FAs came a runn'in!

I'd be doing some illegal tampering on your brake lines, but then I thought about and decided not too. Lol
