Are the Cowboys interested in Taylor? - 6/6/08

I know there were reports last week from Shefter that the Cowboys were possibly interested in Taylor, but now in this article it says ESPN is a source for that info.

On the Taylor front, the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders and San Diego Chargers have shown varying degrees of interest in making a trade. The Jacksonville Jaguars, interested before the draft, are no longer, according to ESPN.

Is this new news? Did anyone hear anything on ESPN about this?

I don't remember where I read this but it mentioned that San Diego offered a 4th or 5th but was denied. Taylor's value went down the sink when he said he was interested in playing for one more year. Probably most teams speculated that he would play 2 years or so. Now all of a sudden the Tuna wants Taylor in Miami and "welcomes" him in etc. Could be just a disguise to raise his value after it went down the sink from the 1 more year comment.
