Lets face it, other than Romo and Ware we really don't have much.

Dez Bryant is OK, but I see why he fell in the draft, and he really tanked after Romo got hurt. Same story with Miles' as I think he is more a product of Tony Romo. Witten is also more of a product of Romo just like Dallas Clark with Peyton.

I would liken our situation to the Indianapolis Colts with Manning/Freeney. As we saw last year, the Cowboys absolutely tanked after Romo got hurt. They of course tuned things around after Wade got fired, but that's just bc players were motivated to impress the new coach.

News flash boy we were 1-7 with Romo and 5-3 without

You need to do some research.

Yeah, Romo is THE MAN! Why, he made everyone around him better. On the other hand Witten, Miles, Rat, and Dez are scrubs. The 5-3 record they achieve without Romo was only because they were trying to impress their new coach. I agree with you. :)

Note: I did not mean that as an indictment on Romo, just sayin.

Dez is a big, physical WR, but I don't see the explosive speed and elusiveness. He's our version of Pierre Garcon IMO.

thats what the Jets thought ...right up until they decided they better put the best CB in the league on him to stop the bleeding....and kept him on him (even after his injury)

I'm surprised the OP didn't say that Romo > Peyton in his prime  Troll harder next time

I am surprised you came back for more since you were totally embarrassed in your last thread. But keep them coming it's always fun owning a troll. Somewhere a village is missing their idiot(Cowpie17).

Witten was a mofo before Romo took over for Bledsoe. He was already in the Pro Bowl for two seasons before Romo started.

Oh, well. You know, to you, Dez is "okay."

Excellent point.

Witten had 87 receptions and 980 yards with Testaverde as the QB in 2004. That is all you need to know about how good Wittenn is. He also did very well last year with Kitna at QB.

It's OK, Bennett is coming back from injury so we might have a really good TE now. ;)

So I guess Jerry Rice was a product of Joe Montana...and Steve Young? These guys have to have the talent to get open and know the system as well. Witten was a rising star when Bledsoe was still here.

Have you ever played football? When you're trying to run around on an inured leg, it just doesn't work out that well. And the Cowboys absolutely were anything but tanking after Romo got hurt and once Wade left.

Time to take the meds...
