Are the Cowboys the NFC East version of the Vikings?

Preaching logic, Sir. The fact we did that from 1960 - 1996 says a lot. Sadly we are the old school fans that have enjoyed the wins and suffered the losses. The newer fans have yet to feel the glory of this team, hence all the negativity. Then there are those that have witnessed our dominance years ago and question our record since the salary cap. It has been hurtful to say the least. We need a real run. We need something to be proud of again.
Jerry Jones was one of the biggest proponents of the salary cop. And his teams have nonexistant playoff success ever since. How ironic.

I suppose we will find out on Monday.

Fools gold perhaps? Vikings had a very good regular season record, yet virtually no one was afraid of playing them. I predicted the Giants would handle the Vikings easily.

I'm getting vibes from media and others that people feel the same about the Cowboys. No bite when it matters most.

I hope we prove everyone wrong, and Monday night would be a great start!
Well it’s not like the Cowboys don’t give the media a reason. Good dak is better than Cousins

Check out our points differential. Check out the Vikings points differential. We are nothing like the Vikings.

That was more of him not being, at the time, one of the richest owners… He was worried about eventually the rich teams buying Super Bowls.

Why do people keep comparing the Cowboys to teams that have never won a Super Bowl in their franchise's entire history.

The Cowboys went to the Super Bowl 8 times in the 56 years there has been a Supe Bowl. That is an average of 1 in every 7 seasons.

Go ahead, see if you can find more than one team that can claim better than that.
LOL… Yes my grandfather told me the story, and his father told him, I will pass it down to my son in the same way.

If our defense is anywhere remotely as bad as the Vikings then Dan Quinn will have failed miserably. We should be light years better than that group.

Sadly yes…
All the more telling that the Vikings have some real stats on their team and still never get anywhere…also how close Dak and Kirk are when people start ranking the QBs

I thought the same thing when I saw the Vikings drive down the field for the opening drive TD, then allow the Giants to beat them up on their first possession. I don't think the Cowboys are quite that bad, which is why they beat the Vikings 40-3.

But yes, we have seen 27 years of being soft in big games so we are conditioned to expect the same. Just once I would like to the the Cowboys come out in a playoff game and give the effort the Giants did in Minnesota. The Giants bullied the Vikings.

I would say Dak and Cousins have a lot in common.

I am hoping being on the road will actually work out better for us. Is the pressure of a highly anticipated game at home to much for us to handle? Like the playoff game last year vs the 49ers. Or the 1st game of the year against the Bucs.
I really don’t see how playing on the road in a playoff game especially against Tom Brady is going to work out better for us considering four of our five losses this season were on the road and our road playoff record is 0-8 the past 30 years.

I dont know how each man for man roster comparisons would pan out. But I do know that Dak and Cousins have some similarities that have long been discussed here. And as more time passes and they both continue to have good stats and no post season success, it's kinda hard to not compare them.

Actually the press was starting to climb on board... until the snoozer in with Tennessee and then the stinker at Washington.
What about the Tennessee game changed someone's mind? You never apologize for road wins in the NFL. Actually, any win in the NFL is good. This isn't college where a team can roll out of bed and win just by showing up.

Look at the Bengals and Bills yesterday. They struggled and both were fortunate to win at home against lesser teams playing with their much less talented backup QBs. Are they getting trashed? I don't see it. No idea why Dallas has these unrealistic bars being set by fans and media members and if they don't win by 3 scores every game or the slightest thing goes wrong, they get trashed. Josh Allen played a very poor game by the standards set for Dak. In fact, 2 of this playoff wins have been pretty poor performances. Trevor Lawrence's performance would be deemed poor for Dak.

Seriously? The Titans game they were without Henry and started a QB a week after signing him. And we were super sloppy. A lot of people wondered what the heck happened. They chalked it up to a short week after an emotional win over the Shitbirds. We then completely screwed the pooch against the Commanders.

People are definitely questioning the Bills after that game yesterday. People are saying their OL is terrible and that is forcing Allen to try and do everything on his own. They are talking that the defense doesn't have a pass rush without Von Miller.

The Bengals are without three starting OL. There is a reason that they are struggling some.

If Dak throws 4 ints in the first half, and then throws 4 to come back and win in the second half, he will get tons of love.
