Twitter: Are the Eagles imploding?

It’s not like there are not other teams that have Super Bowl aspirations in the NFC. The Eagles imploded before, recovered, got back to the top. They’re going to have to get lean before they get to the top again. So what?

Better to have at least succeeded and then failed than to simply keep falling short for virtually ever. Do you suspect this so called Eagles implosion means they won’t get into a Super Bowl for the next 30 years. That would be difficult for their fans, I’m sure.
Why would it be difficult? Before the first SB win, the iggles fans were already used to not getting to the big game. We will see if they can make it back. I hope they never do.

Eagles are tearing it down with a plan to rebuild in a year or two for another run. That will never happen here. Jerry and Stephen are too comfortable having a team good enough to compete hoping it gets lucky one year. Hasn't happened in over three decades.

The Cowboys keep enough talent around to win just enough games to remain average, keeping them out of the top of the draft and keeping Jerry's hopes high they are "close". This explains a lot of the differences between Dallas and Philly.

Lane Johnson chose to retire - that was his call. And if another team wants to offer you a second rounder for maybe the worst OLman in the league, you take it.

Philly is the same old Philly IMO. It's all about how well they can manage Hurts' limitations, and right now, a combination of scheme and under-performing talent isn't letting them hide him.

What?
They are not at the point of being a bare cupboard.
They are not one player away. But could be only 2 or 3. You do not implode to to rebuild at this point.
You are making my point for me. They traded for Pickens Williams and Porter. They’re always three or four players away because they put themselves in that position. instead if they had traded Ferguson when they traded Micah or traded bland when they traded Micah or even traded Dak when they traded Micah that would’ve been a rebuild scenario.

You’re always going to say this isn’t the right time to blow it up because the Cowboys put themselves into position to never blow it up. But this exact same tactic has always landed them as a low-grade playoff team at best over the last 30 years.

I'm not an eagles fan. I just find it amusing. Dad, this board after one or two wins starts looking down at other teams that aren't doing so well. Reminds me of the amnesia that takes place between seasons.

I heard the terrible 105.3 morning show the other day. Talk about how they think the Steelers are imploding and that they love it.

How about just focusing on what your team is doing and knowing that your team hasn't done crap for 30 years and implodes every other season.

What making your point. No way.
You said blow it up. Then they will be 15 players away, not 2 or 3 or 4.
