you decide

why I ask, is because according to Sean Salisbury, he lists the Ravens #4 in the NFL

the Bears are at #1, followed by the Colts, Bengals, Ravens, and then the Seahawks

idk, to me, the Ravens haven't impressed me at all, I know McNair is a little spark, but to me, they're still offensively offensive

i'd say top 10 they could be higher if Jamal would start runing like he did 3 years ago

They have one of those defenses that will harass you all day long and they seem to consistently force game changing turnovers. Offensively, they have an average to below average OL, but the presence of McNair really makes a difference. I see them as a solid playoff team.

Playoff team, one and done. Offense isn't good enough to win in the playoffs.

The Ravens are not top 5, if they cant run the ball consistently.

Its that simple to me.

They certainly have the best defense in the league but their offense still leaves a lot to be desired. They have no running game and the passing game is inconsistent but a lot better than it used to be.

Their defense has produced 17 sacks, 12 turnovers, 1 TD, and 2 Safeties in 4 games. They have also setup several of the Ravens scores with turnovers and big plays. This is the kind of attacking defense I wish we had and why I don't like Mike Zimmer or his style.

Its the exact same type of defense that won them the Super Bowl, with a mildly improved offense. They are a top 5 team and a serious contender in my eyes.

I think they are, they are 4-0. They have done nothing but dominate on defense and be efficient on offense. I think if the steelers and bengals fall another game behind the ravens are going to be off to the races and I dont see either team catching them.

That would be something to me, the bengals or steelers not making the playoffs, at this point I cant see that happening but that ravens win was big sunday.

Ther defense is statisticly as good as the defense they won the superbowl with. I did not think they where going to be a contender back then but I was wrong. They are better on offense than they where when they won the superbowl so I would say that they are SB contenders.

No way, I live in Baltimore, actually about a mile from there training facility and they are way over-hyped. Yeah, there defense is tough(top 10 maybe) but there old, they have a year or two left at best. The Browns had them beat with minutes left and had to hit a 52 yarder to win in the closing seconds. There a wild card team at best, but with the Steelers and Bengals it will be tough. Personally, I can't stand them. I've met many of them and Suggs, Deion, and Heap are about the only 3 I'd say were cool, there DB Chris McCallister is a total ****. But there just out to a good start, they should be 2-2.

They look better than the Bengals. Cincy got blown out against the Pats at home and did not look all that great in their win against Pittsburgh.

All teams look to have some weaknesses at this point. I don't think there is a clear favorite to win it all at this point. The Ravens have as good a shot as any team. More reps for McNair and the offense may get better.

Baltimore is undefeated, so that gets them into the top five.

IMO, how can you possibly rank the Bengals and Seahawks in the top five after last week? Both teams got smashed, not just beaten, SMASHED. One team doesn't have a playoff calibre defense and the other can't run anymore.

New England is a top three team as is Dallas.

1. Indy
2. Chi town
3. New England
4. Baltmore
5. Dallas

I'd say...
1) Chicago
2) Indy
3) Seattle
4) Cincinnati
5) Ravens
6) Philly
7) Jax
8) Minnesota
9) Dallas

but I don't think the margin is great between any of those teams. esp 3-10.

top 5 after 4 games -- maybe. after 16 games -- we'll see.

they do seem like a playoff team right now.

their defense is going to keep most of their games close.

Definitely top 5...one of the best defenses in the league, combined with an offense that can score and a QB with moxy.

The Ravens could win it all....definitely a top team.

I don't think anyone can really judge their offense only 3 games into the season. That would be like saying we've seen everything TO will bring to our offensive table, when in reality both teams have only just started scratching the surface. They keep winning, confidence grows, you don't know how good they could be. Half of the games we won in the 90's were on confidence and the arrogance from that confidence that followed. God help us if that offense starts finding a 'strut' like that defense of theirs, and if very well could with McNair under center.
