I don't remember Cowboy games having as much boring/down time in it as the last 2 weeks had. Is it me? Yes, the Bronco/Panther games had its moments late but i'm referring to the first three quarters. I think we scored a grand total of 17 points over 6 quarters and the opposing team scored only 10. Not a lot of action before the wild 4th quarters. The Giant game was awesome to watch but had an horrible outcome. The last two games have been duds and it looks like this week could be another dud. Opinions

Considering the amount of heart attacks I've had over the past 3 years I would say we are the most exciting team.

Remember I said I was referring to the first 3 quarters of each game.

We're usually slow out of the gate anyways but now it at least appears were going a little more to the run early on which isn't usually a fast scoring offense

Not to mention the offense is still figuring out the defence in the early quarters also the defence isn't tired yet and making mental mistakes creating the openings to attack as they do late in games

If you wanted to get real nit picky one could also say we don't have that big play threat in the passing game and while Jones is on the bench we don't have as much of a big play threat in the run game

The only homerun hitter we have is Felix and he is hurt.

Also, Coach Tecmo has decided the best way to win is to turn our franchise QB into a bus driver with this crappy ball control offense we are running now.

You also have to take into account that we have a bunch of scrubs at WR. We are the only team in the NFL that does not have a WR either 1st or 2nd in receptions on the team.

Witten is #1
Choice is #2

Only team in the NFL......let that sink in for a second. That means that we either have the worst offensive coordinator in the league or we have the worst receiving core in the league.

EAST, I just posted something about that. I agree with you. Garrett calls short patterns that have no design around them. I think the recievers should be given another chance under a good OCoordinater like Mike Martz or Shannonhan etc.

I would love to see what Shanny could do with this offense. Even with our scrub WRs, he could turn this offense into a top 10 unit easy.

Holmgren would be a better fit. He worked with Favre and Young. He made Hasselback a very good qb for a while as well. He knows how to coach qbs better then any current coach available.

I would take Holmgren over Fatty any day of the week and twice on Sunday!!!

Boring yes. It's boring to watch the same formula game after game. We abandon the run and put the game into the unable hands of Turnover Tony. Tony throws 40 or so bad passes to receivers who can't get open, and we lose the game. Seen one Cowboy game lately, seen 'em all.

Boring? No. Frustrating is more like it. Regardless of how angry I get, at least I ain't bored.

That's what I was thinking. This year, the offense is not as potent because we want to run the ball more. But this season, games have been going down to the wire with a play here or there going either way.

It's been a roller coaster season so far. Up... then down. Up... then down.

And he plays RB... Great job cutting our playmaking WR Jerry....

The homers were content that Miles "Big Plays" Austin would fill that void....
