Are we cursed by Green Bay?

We played a great game against them last year and it was downhill after that. We played probably our best game this year against them and it has been downhill ever since. Is this the curse of Green Bay? I know there is plenty of football left. Just making an observation.

Actually I thought we escaped that game with a win. Favre started throwing INT's and then Rodgers gave us some trouble.


*I* think that the loss the Giants in the playoffs could be the game that has long term effects on us. (I compare it the effect of the Pats "tuck" game) That set that franchise up for years... hope we didnt jumpstart the Giants.

I see where the OP was coming from... HEY... things are rough right now... us fans are just looking for answers/patterns - ANYTHING.

NO this team is one dimensional offensively with a ok defense. For whatever reason teams found out if you double or triple TO this offense is ordinary, and Romo is ordinary. Yeah Witten will catch seam routes but witten isn't a threat to break a long one at least once a game. Teams now are just stacking the box when they think we run and roll coverage to TO to stop the big play. Until this team figures out a way to punish teams for rolling the coverage to TO there will be more games like this one, the Washington one and once we play teams that are equal in talent or better this team will get blown out.

I dont think we are one dimensional... I do think that we dont create mismatches.

With the likes of TO, Witten, Barber, Felix and emerging Bennett and Austin - we should be able to create mismatches during the game and we dont.
