Are we done in FA

With all the moves Dallas has done do you think Jerry will sign anyone else?
FS is our biggest hole but unless Woodson gives us a good guy discount I dont see us signing a FS unless Coleman is brought in.


If not which postition would you upgrade or improve?

Playmaker over at KFFL is posting that Dallas has been in contact with Law and Woodson about playing FS. No visits scheduled yet, however. IIRC, Playmaker has a contact in the Dallas front office.

First, obvious weakest position is FS. I agree with maybe Law at FS, but I am wary of Woodson, he has always been injury prone, and he has a big agent for money. Second, Woodson said he would like to play FS so he wouldnt have to cover WR one on one deep. Gosh, thats main job of FS, covering deep.

Second position I think we might go after is FS with Sowell. Then, fill in other positions with draft. The goose, said today Dallas wants Justice OT from USC. Other reports say we want Bobby Carpenter or Manny Lawson. Also, Goose says we might take a WR with 1st rounder, but trade down too, taking Jackson or Holmes. I am in favor of Jackson, since he is bigger, and faster, like 4.35 in 40, 6-1, about 205, whereas Holmes is slower at 4.49 or 4.47.

There should be some veteran cuts after the draft. Teams don't have to wait for June 1 anymore with the new cba rules.

I think we might get one or two more Fa before the draft too.. however I have to ask,, why would we go out and sign a FB that won't see the field? Even if he is a huge upgrade over the current FB.. so what.. they are only involved in about 15% of the plays anyway. I just don't see all the concern over a FB. BP likes to use a 2 TE set and motion to set up a block by the TE. I like justice or oneal in the 1st and a FS in the 2nd, no way do i take a WR til the 4th. CJ will be a good player though, but i just dont see us taking a WR at 1, not with Glenn, and TO both here and able to play for couple more years.
