My Fellow Americans,

Jaylon looks good and will be ready to unleash dominance upon opposing offenses right next to our other stud Sean Lee in 2017.

Just build around those two & the rest is history!!!

Lovingly,

Your boy Bleu

Who is Dr Chao?

The Chinese version of Dr. Who?
Dr. Chao is a Sports medicine Doc who has been a team physician. He's a guest on SIRIUS NFL radio about once a week. I've listened to him quite a bit and he sure seems to know his stuff when it comes to football injuries of all kinds.
Edit: I did some additional research on the guy out of curiosity and found that he was the Chargers' team physician at one time but has a pretty checkered past. Several malpractice suits and such...I guess that's why he's doing radio gigs these days.

So he is not a Dr. Who....:muttley:.....Dr. Who is cool...

this reminds me of all those Bruce Lee posts combing Carter and Lee. That went down soooo fast and so loud you can hear the resounding thud in space. That was some fun times, we were told how great that combo was going to be, and it wasnt as impressive as good bag of Combos.

Those of you who are getting all lathered up over Jaylon Smith better tap the brakes until we see him at least get on the field and start practicing. Some here are setting themselves up for a huge letdown if he doesn't pan out.

Carter had off the chart measurables but I dont believe he had the same upstairs. By all accounts Smith is the total package. His heart and his brains will seperate him from the Bruce Carters of the world.

Most seasons end in a huge let down also, that doesnt stop us from getting excited along the way. Jaylon is a prospect that warrants excitement.

Getting excited about a season following a 13-3 season is one thing but getting excited about a player who suffered a very serious injury in college that forced them to miss their entire rookie season in the NFL is another.

Loved the pick but I'm not getting hyped until I see regular season action

Personally I didn't like the pick, was too risky which is why we've had a number of #2 picks not pan out. Had we chose a healthy player last April they might have greatly improved our defense and helped us advance in the playoffs.

Ha, you can curb your enthusiasm as much as you see fit, and I do understand. But the guy is a hell of a prospect and his work outs appear to be coming along. No amount of guarded optimism is going to keep us from being excited at the thought of him playing next year. As long as the "updates" continue to trend in a positive direction people will continue to salivate. I for one fully expect him on the field for camp this year. If I am wrong Ill stand by that and admit to being a delusional fool.

He was a hell of a prospect when he was healthy but after that injury there's no guarantees he's even close to the player he was. I'm not about to get excited about a player who may never even play for us. If he's not a full go for training camp this summer then I don't believe he's going to pan out. We can't be waiting around year after year with him rehabbing and waiting for a damn nerve to fire. I'm not giving him a second thought until I see him suited up practicing football.

check out the thread on the latest video.
on page 8 or so, fuzzy did a frame by frame deconstruction to show Jaylon flapping his feet up and down.
yes the feet that had complete foot drop ( totally disabled before)- it can move now.
not only move, but in a quick way to match the other feet while jumping up and down quickly...

to my knowledge, this is the first videographic evidence that the nerve is 'firing' as they like to call it.

100% - probably not, but it is apparently getting better...
