Are We Done With The O-line In FA?

It looks like we're done with Fabini and Kosier as our O-line signings...

I still feel a little un-easy about not having at least one more SOLID
O-lineman signed.

we did resign gurode and flozell is on schedule to be back.

Probably done unless one of the other FA's are not getting signed and then gives them a situation where they can pick them up cheap.

Other then that I figure they pick up a guy or two via the draft.

So far we picked up an OG, OT, Resigned OG/C in Gurode and also got a blocking TE to replace campbell.

In the Draft - First get value picks - unless there is a major talent at 18 to be had. This would lead me to believe we go Safety, Oline, WR. Or whichever group is the deepest we wait on.
When the camp cuts come they will get someone with more expirence on the oline.

Someone will always drop on the draft board.
Hopefully we are around to pick up the great player with our picks.

Kosier and Fabini are solid pickups. Not flashy or newsworthy like TO, but just as important.

Now that Vanderjagt is signed we're probably done untill the draft. Maybe if the Law/Woodson rumors are true will bring in one of them, but everyone else we bring in will probably be because we couldn't adress it in the draft (FB, OL, FS like Marcus Coleman, not big name guy, WR).

If the reports of Neal being close to resigning with NE are true, there just isn't a quaility FA OL left to pursue. So yea we would be done with OL in Fa, til after the draft anyway. Might can do some deals after the June 1st cuts.

Most free agents are going to look at our situation and not want to come because their chance of starting is slim & none at this point.

Since we cut Larry, maybe we go after OG Stephan Neal? I think he was Zero Liability for the Pats. Fraud Monitering is also still available.

I don't see any value in whats left of OL FAs. There are three OL possibilities we can look at for the 18th pick depending on things fall out. I think any one of them could have a chance to start. Thats saying we do not get a WR which I would prefere. After we use a 2nd or 3rd rounder on a MLBer I expect we will take some fliers on O-linemen with the rest of the picks. No sence wasting a pick on a QB because Bill wouldn't play them for three years anyway. DL is pretty good and the CBs are real good provided our older guys stay healthy.
