I cannot even look at our sked or standing right now...but can we rebound from this horriffic stretch of play to salvage a playoff spot?
Can we beat KC - Carolina - Washington? ???

What do ya think??

The terrible truth-yes.

Don't get me wrong, I really like what Bill P has done to overhaul this 53 man roster, but all this long-term damage is largely Jerry's fault. When Bill came on board a couple of years ago, he was forced to go with QC and Hutch. Delhomme and Plummer were THERE in FA. Not a trace of anything since. The mess Bill took over was probably worse than the all the CIA mess George W took over from Klintoon.

Yah-the OL is alot to blame. However-what can you do when you have a vet QB who has so many bad habits you can poke holes through? Tom Brady would be playing infinitely better with this line, frankly.

I think we can beat the Chiefs and the Skins. The Panthers front line is going to kill Brew, JJ, Marion. It's going to be ugly

Not a chance of beating Kansas City, or Washington, or Carolina.

Look man, if we're a legitimate playoff team we'll make it.

Fate has nothing to do with it.

You answered it in the 1st part of your post. If we're a legitimate playoff team and were not.

We can beat the Skins and the Chiefs; we will get manhandled by the Panthers. Rams- we can beat. As long as our D keeps playing and hanging in there. But with the O line stinking up the place the way it is, we are not going to score many points.
On some of the plays when Bledsoe was trying to pass, it looked like a 3rd grade recess had started the way that backfield filled up with Giants.

we don't know about that yet.

We've been competitive in every single game this year.

Just have to finish

I have been always optimistic about the cowboys, but when you look back at the games the cowboys have played, we have not beat a team that actaully is a good on both sides of the ball.

We beat the giants before the D started playing,

we beat the chargers without Antonio Gates,

then let's roll the rest of the teams we beat, 49er's, Cardnals, Eagles (twice), and the Lions.

But we've lost to the skins, Raiders, Ginats, Seattle, and the Broncos

You can tell me all day we've been in every game, but the bottom line, when it comes to making plays when the game is on the line, we can only do it, against the pathitic teams of the NFL. The last time i checked, the only one we have left is the Rams.

Maybe it's time we realize that unless our offense, stops playing like crap, we will continue to lose.

Hell no, far from it.

We are still in contention and can make the playoffs.

We can play with any team no matter how bad we are playing.

Its going to be tough but we can do it.

We couldn't the NFC been like this last year, and we would almost already have a play off spot?

you make very little sense......I dont think any QB would do a damn thing with this line. He cant do anything if he doesnt have protection. The defense wont back off to allow some rushing yards if the QB isnt completing passes, again, that goes on the o-line (and QB if he misses open guys). What are the so called bad habits of Bledsoe?? Were you raving about them when he was still the highest rated QB in the NFC?? Look, Bledsoe is a good QB, not great and that is what he's paying like.

I agree with you about the Jerry Jones thing, but I'd recommend you not make those sort of political statements in this forum, there are forums for that kind of stuff, and quite frankly its irrelevant in this particular discussion! (but I agree with that too:D)

Frankly-he's by far the best coach in the post-Jimmy Johnson era. And if it weren't for him, our 53 man roster wouldn't be THIS good.

With that being said-if Drew keeps playing like this, look to the future and start Romo.

Remember last year when everyone thought the Giants' OL was suspect with Warner. But the sack total went WAY down with Eli in there. Maybe our OL isn't as bad as everyone thought?

If we keep our defense on the field...we have a shot ;)

Seriously though, if the coaches don't start coaching the o-line better, we have no shot....the only thing that can and has been keeping us in EVERY game except one (Philly the first game) has been our defense.

I agree, we will not score against carolina. Thought usi and strahan were bad, rucker and peppers are both better than them.

I hate to say it but i dont think we have a chance

No way is he the best coach in the post Jimmy Johnson era, there are too many coach to list that are better or as good as him, he could be the best coach in that era except for two reasons

1) he is too stuborn, doing what he wants to do even when there is no point,
2) he does not adapt, he brings in older players, who though they may be good, delay development; and he tries to win the same way every game since the 80s even when it does not work, and the opposite would work.

He has done a lot for this team in bringing back good players, but if they dont win a playoff game this year, find someone else.
