We should be tanking for Arch.

Resign Micah. Front load his contract, so he would be trade-able next season. When we draft Arch he can sit one year, and then Dak will ask for a trade at that point.

I would love Arch, but I don't know how we would expect to tank with all these big time free agent acquisitions.

My opinion is that now isn't the time. If I spend a R1 pick, I want him to start immediately. Thats not happening right now.

Yeah we have at least 2 more years of Dak. Next year is probably a better year to start looking.

They just gave Dak a 4 year extension that starts this season paying 60m a season and have already restructured it once!

What is it that you like about Arch?

Now isn’t the time since Dak was signed. Drafting a first rounder would be a waste of a cheap QB contract. I am hoping for Manning in 2027/2028 and Dallas will be able to part ways with Dak if that comes to fruition….it won’t, but I still hold out hope.

I would take a QB in each of these next two drafts to see if one hits.

Unfortunately the Cowboys are stuck with overpaid trash at that position for the next few years. They will probably add some skill players trying to make the trash QB better but it won't.

Totally agree. I’d at least roll the dice on one in rounds 2-3 or package a couple of 5ths to move up and nab one in the 4th. My point was the Jones haven’t put any stock in the position for many years. It’s just the most important position on the field.

Maybe if Quinn Ewers falls to the 5th round or something. Otherwise, no no no no no. Too many other positions need help. We need a RB, 2 LB, WR, 2 OL and 2 DL before we think about a QB being drafted.
