Are we now a top 5 team?

I'm trying not to get too excited but no question last night's win was huge. When I look at the top team left after the Saints ( Chiefs, Rams, Texans, Pats, Steelers, Chargers, Bears ), we can hold our own against any IMO. Not sure if you can say we're back to 2016 form but no question we're close.

The Cowboys looked like the better team Thursday night. They looked nothing like the team that started 3-5, with Jason Garrett’s head on the chopping block.

Owner Jerry Jones said the Cowboys aren’t the same team: They aren’t the same team they were at 3-5, and they aren’t even the same team they were before the 13-10 victory over the Saints.

I wouldn't go as far as to put in in the top 5 yet. Definitely top 10, which is much higher than I had them a few weeks ago.

If we play defense like that we can beat anyone. Defense still wins over the high powered offense even in today's passing league.

No. Because I am not sure this offense is all that good still.

One game doesn't change much. We are 7-5 and still fighting for the playoffs. We will have to go to NO or LA in the playoffs to advance to the NFCCG. I am not sure the offense is good enough to win in those places even if the D plays at a high level.

I need to see an improved offense to believe they are a legit Top 5 team. We scored 13 points last night against a middling NFL defense.

Top 15. Our offense is weak.

We have a championship caliber defense , league leading rusher and average to below average passing game. Our offense isn’t championship caliber. Maybe it won’t cost us in the playoffs . We’ll see.

At our current state, in the playoffs, we'd have to go on the road and face those 3 teams. This offense isn't performing consistent or well enough to win in those places.

Offense could use more consistency in multiple phases but the defense is playing great.

1000%.......what they say, not how you start but how you finish. Every season we see at least one or two team catch fire near the end of the season. But like Parcell use to say, who's playing the best ball AFTER T'giving.

It's a hard sell to for me to put us over Rams, Saints, Chiefs, Steelers, Chargers or Bears with Trubisky not Daniels.
