if we have been in rebuilding mode the last couple of years, then we are on course. We concentrated on the D, and the future looks bright on that side of the ball. Next year, if we get a players on the O line, we'll be contenders.

Cowboys entered the offseason looking bad at O-line and secondary. They did much for problem 2, much less for problem 1 in the offseason. Lots of Zoners were saying in pre-season prediction threads that you can't do it all in one offseason and that the team is still a couple years away because of that. They're looking pretty prescient right now.

This is the NFL. You are always rebuilding. We rebuilt our 2ndarty and MLB over the last couple of years. You always have holes and ours seem to continually be on the OL

In today's NFL, you can't look into 3 or 4 year rebuilding plans anymore cuz of players contracts, injuries and 7 rd drafts as well as lack of player on player trades anymore. Too many holes develop year to year that you'll never have all the right pieces. All the teams have some achilles heel. Your rebuilding is done in a year----worst to first kind of thing. Owners nor Fans have the patience for this---especially when it is not noticed on the field.

Put this way, if the Boys lose the next 5 games, we are rebuilding.....if they win the next 5, we are on a SB run, baby.

when you are re-building, you need to start with a solid foundation

jerry, stephen, and garrett, that sounds like a foundation made of sand

so, no, we are not rebuilding

yes we are in a rebuilding mode.

You have to do some building to get to the rebuilding stage. Building starts in the trenches for winning teams.

OL and DL.

Well we're set at starting corner for a long time. We might be real deep if we resign Jenkins. There really isn't a bright future at the safety positions. The ILBs are set for the long term. But if we don't resign Spencer and if Ware starts to show signs of age, then we'll have major problems at OLB. The Dline isn't really set either. Basically CB and ILB look good for the next 7-10 years. Our offense looks more built to win now.
