Are we the most selfish fans in the NFL?

I think we have some of the most knee jerk fans. 3 weeks ago we had fans giving up on the season today we sit in 1st and this team is playing well. Long ways to go yet but it would be nice to see people not over react constantly before allowing the season to play out.

A lot on here ride with how the media perceives us and the media is the quickest to label us one way or the other.

Then you got people like Monsterheel who are obviously just being trolls regardless of how we play.

True. It is a 16 game schedule and within that time teams are going to hit high spots and low it happens every year. Hell NY is on a 3 game losing streak this is the team who 3 weeks ago fans had handed the division to. Philly goes out and gets beat by the Raiders come on. We just seem to have fans who allow their emotions to get the better of them.

Win or loss it would not be The Zone without people overreacting, *****ing and moaning.

Just part of it's appeal, I guess.

"Spoiled" is a more fitting term IMO.

Spoiled would make sense if this team had been having success but we have not seen a playoff victory in what 12 years? This has not been a perennial championship team it is a young team trying to make their own mark in Cowboy history, it would be nice to see the fans get behind them

I sure as hell don't feel too spoiled.

After season upon season of coming up short, I'd say used and abused are just as fitting.

If you say so. It is hard to take the overly emotional too serious.

We consistently have been having seasons about .500, that makes us spoiled aswell

I think a lot of our fan base are some of the more spoiled and therefor unrealistic fans in the entire league.

Especially quite a few of the ones who claim they're keeping it real and then as you're reading their 'keeping it real' you realise that they're either completely football ignorant or they just like sounding stupid.

All fans are the same... just have a conversation with another team's fans and you will see how 'blame the coach when things go wrong', 'give credit to players when things go right', 'end of the world after a loss', 'superbowl bound after a win', etc we all are.

Thats what gets me.

I'd like to think of myself as someone who keeps it real.

But man some of these guys will gripe and complain when there is nothing to complain about.

The thing that annoys me is if we are fans, than how does booing, bad mouthing and overall snickering help our team get better?

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't care to be lumped in with most Dallas Cowboys fans in general.

I don't feel selfish or spoiled.

I don't care about Madden football, I don't care about fantasy football, SportsCenter or what the media says each day, and each week.

I am only a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and have been since '67 or '68. They are all I care about.

I don't get too high or too low with each win or loss.
I have been around a long time and have seen a lot.

Just let me have the Cowboys and you can keep the rest.

Fans that have been around a long time probably know just what I'm saying.

I don't know how a fanbase that hasn't seen a playoff win in 13 years could be selfish. We are right down there with the dregs of the league.

Sorry Dooms....forgot to add the sarcastic roll your eye guy after my last comment.

Just part of it's appeal, I guess.

Fixed it for you.

I agree with you about the drama queens.

Ditto..

Cowboys fans are very bi polar in the sense that they react harshly and blow things out of preportion. People start to give up on the boys even when there is stil hope left. There are alot of haters even though we are playing good football.
