Are you a one team fan?

The Dallas Cowboys are and will always be my #1 team but being from Carolina I would have to say the Panthers would be a very distant 2nd. Now if and when those two meet in the NFC title game. It would be a no brainer but my house would be divided. Does anyone else have this problem?

that's crazy, cuz I'm from South Carolina, so I've been rooting for the Panthers for awhile now too, crazy

I don't think it's a problem for me, I root for the Cowboys when the 2 teams are playing since I was a die-hard COwboy fan 1st, but other than that, I always hope the Panthers do well

I'm a 1 team fan in a few sports. I love the Cowboys/Mavericks/ that's about it. If the Rangers and Stars were to do something, I would jump on the bandwagon, but when it comes to football, all I care about is the Cowboys.

My second favorite team...tie between the KC Chiefs of the late 60's and the Jets from the same era.

In fact, I used to get a kick out of the entire AFL.

But since then, no thanks.

There are 15 other teams in the NFC and 16 teams in the AFC that I refuse to root for unless their win helps the Cowboys in some way.

I'm an NFL fan before a Cowboys fan. But I don't have the time or inclination to be a 'fan' of another team. There are other teams I like quite a bit, but I don't follow them like the Boys.

For me, that one didn't sting near as much. The team collapsed in the second half of the season. You could tell they were overachieving. It hurt that they fell flat on their backs, but they were clearly outmatched. I think the 96 season loss hurt more because it was the end of the dynasty. (and a very winnable game if we had Michael Irvin!)

I root for any team who's playing the 'boys division rivals.

The problem is when they're playing each other. Oh the dilemma.

Nope. I'm a life-long resident of Louisiana and thinking of the Saints as a #2 team period is.... well... nauseating to say the least. Of course, it could be worst.




Dallas and New Orleans could actually meet up in the NFC championship game.

I am a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the NFL. I have many favorite teams, but the Cowboys are, by far, my favorite. My loyalties are as follows:

1. Dallas Cowboys
2. Whoever is playing the Deadskins.
3. Whoever is playing the Beagles.
4. Whoever is playing the Giants.
5. Whoever is playing the Funny-niners.

4. Anyone playing the 49ers
5. Anyone playing the Packers

Above are all teams I hate

Also strongly root for any team whose win/loss helps the Cowboys and that's tough when it's Eagles vs Skins.

my other favorite team is the baltimore ravens. it was a big deal for us marylanders to get a team of our own, to break away from the evil grasp of the Commanders.
