You see this happening in the NBA, you saw MM rest 3 OL guys. My question with us resting those guys is, if this were a bigger matchup, would those guys have played in the game????

I understand it's a long season, but the guys I saw on the sidelines looked fine enough to play, please give your thoughts on this topic

To me it was incredibly confusing and frustrating. I agree it is a long season, but unless playing is going to further harm or significantly hamper rehabbing an injury....you cannot afford to throw away games. Maybe you can rest one OL position, but not three in one game......

Are you referring to Tyron? If so there is an NFL rule that we must have 8 olinemen active for GameDay and Tyron was the closest to being able to play in case of emergency. I don't think we are just resting people to rest them.

You seem to be very angry this morning, I hope you take your anger out on all the others that are doing the same or worse
Not angry at all. Maybe you need to slow your roll with all these types of threads. You know what you are trying to do.

I thought nfl players, at times, could play through injuries. The times have changed. But it looked like to me Tyron Smith wanted to play.

Depends on the definition of resting.

I'd rather play injured guys against ARZ and win games you're supposed to win than save them for SF.

Obviously if they're injured. Play snap counts are something we really don't know about. I'd be intrigued to see how they factor that. I know McCarthy is more on the safe side, which I agree with for the most part. But I do question why Mazi only got 20% of the snaps, as an example.

Well, now we know what it looks like when Dallas has a bad day on both sides of the ball. Even with Trevon Diggs lost for the year, the Cowboys should not be having games like this going forward. It’s easier to excuse the offensive issues, given the absence of three starting linemen. The defensive breakdowns in the first half were proof that a quality, creative offense can put this team in some uncomfortable spots, especially without Diggs on the field. The secondary, save for maybe Stephon Gilmore, had a tough game. There’s no question this loss to Arizona dramatically changes my view of this team. Eventual Super Bowl winners have been known to put up a regular-season dud along the way, although seldom more than one.

Hard to say.

Sure, it sucked seeing those guys out. But was it due to talking to training/medical staff, coaching decision, from the front office or from Grey aliens?

If the train of thought was from a medical opinion that Biadasz/Smith could of aggravated their injury and extended their time out to 4 games instead of missing one, I get holding them out.

The Cowboys are proven playoffs performers who can turn on the switch whenever they want. The regular season is an unnecessary grind for them. They can not get better as they are already optimal. Also we are a road titans so home field advantage throughout the playoffs is not necessary either. We should rest the entire team every 4 games and take a disqualification. Would be worth it in the end when Jerry lifts his well deserved lombardi.
