The first two QBs we're gone or one of them might have been our top pick both were rated as top 5 talent. The Cowboys tried making a deal for the third QB late in the first round. They weren't about to reach for Lynch in the top 5 because he wasn't close to a top 5 talent. Even if the team was desperate for a QB you can't make that big a reach you still have to look at value.

if he's ranked high on your list then you reach if you think the guy is the answer... just saying...

He wasn't ranked nearly that high on our list to take him in the top 5 and you certainly don't reach if you already have a quality starting QB. Even Denver who was desperate for a QB waited until later in the first round to trade up for Lynch.
