we can beat Seattle, we can make a few adjustment, get the team in the right frame of mind, and play a strong game and win. meanwhile the Giants stun the Eagles on a late FG and win. We go to Chicago, Giants to NO. We put up 30 points which the chicago offense can't duplicate, while the Giants sack Brees 4 times and force 3 INTs - final score 24 - 20. Giants play in Dallas for the NFC Champioinship... PRESTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It cant go exactly like that.

If the Giants beat Philly they would go to Chicago (3 vs 6) and we'd be the one to go to NO.

this turned out fine, id rather play a weak seattle team and go play overated chicago, who has lost the LAST 3 playoff games at HOME. Then go play a talented giants team and a hot talented saints team in their house. Things are going to work out, we will play at new orleans for the nfc.

I've been saying that for weeks but no one is giving me my props!!!!!!!!!!

:D

It's all a game of matchups and I don't like our matchup vs the G men.

well ,,or philly, or NO.

Anyway,

I guess I just don't want to play the gints cause I hate em.

your question was "are we blind"

my statement would be, apparently you are too

have you not seen what this team has done the last 4 weeks?

It doesnt matter who we play in the postseason, we're getting stomped out in one game...Hasselback will probably throw for 350+ against us

David

exactly.

you never wanna see your team backing into the playoffs. and that is exactly what dallas is doing.

i'd rather have a "hot" team squeaking into a wildcard berth than a "division champ" in the midst of a december fade - ala the steelers and colts, respectively, of last season.

who dallas plays and where is secondary to HOW they are currently playing. they look lost as of this minute.

Not to split hairs, but if anyone is backing into the playoffs, it's Seattle. They've lost 3 in a row. They will probably beat TB, but we'll also probably beat DET for a 3-2 December.

both teams are lousy...but Seattle did play well vs San Diego last week and probably shoudl have won the game

and they didnt get manhandled in huge games vs New Orleans and Philly at home like we did either

David

Let us not forget that the blind man who is sitting in the marketplace, is completely deaf in so much as hearing the sound that is coming from the mockingbird is concerned.

You're right... they got manhandled by Minnesota and beaten by San Francisco (twice). And Chicago obliterated them at Soldier Field.

This was the exact post I was going to render only mine would have been better.

;)

Seattle has a much more balanced offense than the Giants right now...let's not forget they played in the SB last season and have a much better QB.

I don't see how anyone could fear the Giants more than the Seahawks...please, the Giants have been going down the toilet faster than we have.

The Giants were my absolute favorite team to play in the first round....I'd have been more worried had the Rams or GB gotten in....you can't win in the playoffs without decent QB play...The Giants are really struggling with Eli right now.
