I am both , happy that we may have found our guy for head coach
even though 1 game is a small sample size.

I am mad that we wasted 2 years , we should have made the coaching change after the loss to the eagles to end the 2008 season and if not then,
certainly after the lifeless playoff loss to Minny last year.

It is just amazing how obvious this needed change was to the fans and not the GM !

We have to know that JG is the guy because if we get to 2011 and start off 1-7 with him it will be the biggest mistake in franchise history.


Im cheering for the guy. Always have as a player and a coach. But I want whats best for the Cowboys longterm and you can't know the answer to that based on just 1 game.

Agreed. I'm hopeful, and I like Garrett... But I can see me changing that opinion next week.

Having said that, my emotion wouldn't last that long as realizing the problems this team has had since the beginning of the season would bring me back down to reality. Not everything was Garrett's fault.

Nothing wrong with being thrilled with yesterdays game, hell this has been rough and I was very happy with the play but before I would hand over the keys I would want to see continued good play from this team. They have earned the right for people to doubt them now they have to earn the trust back

This team is very talented but now its getting the discipline, focus, and hard work that it needed and didn't get before. They're also being held accountable which is huge. Talent along with those intangibles can be very dangerous. Plus, JG is taking a firm hold on this club and is getting their minds right... They're gonna play hard and WIN....

But Wade should have never been hired as HC.

Then, when Jerry had a chance to undo it. What did he do? He gave him an extension.

We could be serious contenders for hosting and winning SB in own stadium.


Jerry - killed a chance at 4 SB's in a row in 90's.

I'm very comfortable with JG as HC and where this team is headed. Things to me, changed a lot when JG was hired and that 1 game for me, shows that the team is responding well...

I'm not mad. I was pumped watching the Boys dominate the Giants last night. I hate Eli. I think most people would feel good about Garrett as our HC if he could pile of some wins. But one game doesn't mean I'm in love.

You can't be too upset. Things happen for a reason. It'll make it sweeter once we get rolling again, trust me.
