are you more suprised that

defense, phili has a very potent offense and hasn't been slowed down by any team this year.. i'm really happy with how well we played :)

I'm surprised we dominated on both side of the ball........impossible??????

Very impressed! Both units did well. The young guys are growing up!

Defense. Westbrook had 2 rushes for 1 yard at the half. That's about as good as it gets.

I'd also throw in special teams. Outside of McBriar, we had nothing going on there. Many of our first half points came of big returns by Crayton and Tyson Thompson. Then throw in Cortez nailing the coffin with 4-4 on FGs. Then throw in great coverage play by Pierce, Copper, and friends.

Chris, what I'm surprised at is that SO MANY pieces came together today.

It's been baby steps, and 2 steps forward, 1 back for so long that to see SO MANY issues dealt with sucessfully in the same day against the cream of the crop of the NFC is just stunning.

The play-calling wasn't surprising because tho we know Parcells PREFERS to win by grinding it out in the first half and holding a lead in the second, his failure to achieve those results meant he had to go to Plan B. And don't be surprised if he's back to Plan A again next week.

But so many of the other nagging doubts were salved if not solved..chiefly the notion that something was 'different' about JJ's running style, or vision, or legs. Even tho both the tv commentators and Rafael Vela in a very good column this week pointed out succinctly that JJ was fine, and that a series of miscues by various players had conspired to rob him him of some good runs was the true problem, folks seemed to fear the worst.

I hope that one is a fear now aborted. That man can run.

The oline played a masterful game, and tho there were some penalties, it was not the rash and even plague that they have been. It was a real UNIT for the first time this year.

The D really took a big step forward..the backers looke savvy, and the pressure was there..TO marginalized for most of the game.

Just a wonderful effort, and to see so many problematical areas begin to clear up is unusual in one week's time. Cripe, even Cortez's appearance is not causing too many heart palpitations.

Biggest bummer, in retrospect?

We should be undefeated. :)

The entire OL should get the game ball.

Bledsoe did not get sacked and was hurried maybe three times.

considering philly's great tradition of tough d.....i gotta say OFFENSE!!!!

The only problem I had with the defense today was that I would have liked to have forced some turnovers

but no matter, I'll take it 33-10 over the Beagles
