Several people are superstitious when watching their team play... Do you have any rituals that you partake in when watching the game?

I was always one of those people who scoffed at the superstitious crowd......however last season i just so happened to have forgotten to hang my cowboys flag up on gameday for the 3rd game against the texans and seeing as that was the first game we won i convienently forgot the rest of the season....didn't do much good though :laugh2:

Only one ritual. I hate the other team and barely tolerate their fans if they are the slightest bit arrogant. A good guy just talking about the game is great. But so many think it is a badge of honor to be a jerk in someone else's forum or that they are humorous. No, they are just idiots.

I do however eat chicken when we play the Eagles and peanuts when we play the Commanders.

If I can find one, which is really hard in my area, I try to kill a gypsy before every game.

I try to get an ad spammer banned before each season ...... just for luck.

Just because I have to wear my jersey on game day, sit in the same chair, eat before the game or after the game never during the game? NO not at all. :laugh2:

The only thing I don't do is change the channel. Once the Cowboys channel is on, I watch everything to the end. My dad on the other hand likes to think he has the commercial times "down to a science" and flips away to other games during commercials.

We rarely watch games in the same room anymore because of this. He claims that he's "never missed a single snap" which isn't true at all!

Another thing I tend to always do living in the DC area is watch the Commanders play. I have to make sure they lose ;)

Chicken bones, a couple of hex gourds and a shock collar......DO NOT READ High Tech Daves' magic eight ball predictions.

This year I'll be adding a weekly shipment of gypsies to BP. Note to self: poke holes in box.

Well you could do like your dad if you have the DVR recording the game, so even if you miss a snap, you could just rewind it.

I have to record it, just in case the dogs need out, or If I have to go to the bathroom and I miss a play.

I pause the DVR when I walk away, come back in and fast forward to when the game starts back (if during a commercial break)...plus the DVR is nice when you want to see a replay real quick.

I had a magic good luck hat during the 2009 season... every game that I attended and wore the hat, we won. But it stopped working in 2010. :(

I only take breaks for the bathroom at halftime. I treat games on TV as if I were at the stadium - get food before the game, sit and watch, bathroom at the half if needed, sit and watch til the end (usually standing up in the 4th quarter if it's close).

I am very superstituous. Every Sunday, when the Cowboys play, I have to drink atleast 6 beers.
