Dom Capers good friends? It would make sence to bring him in as the "D" coordinator wouldn't it? I thought Parcells had invited him to a training camp prior to him coaching the Texans...

Afterall he is the 3-4 guru....

The Texans have been in the League longer than Parcells has been the coach of the Cowboys.

I don't know if Capers and Parcells are close or not. But there is a connection. Capers and Coughlin are close. Capers coached under Coughlin in Jacksonville after he left Carolina. And Parcells and Coughlin are close.

Ask yourself if BP is willing to give someone like Capers credit. No way does he want that. It probably burns him that Belicheck has succeeded without him.

I doubt Parcells really gives a rat's a** whether Belichick has succeeded or not. Belichick walked into a great situation in NE because of Parcells tenure there alone.

I really think all this talk of Parcells getting hacked about former assistants or guys with close ties and all their recent success is bunk. I'm sure he's losing a ton of sleep over it all.

One of the reasons why I say that is because there was a book written or something like that about a play that was called by one of his OC's that he disagreed with and he went off on the OC prior to the play. But he said "Fine" and allowed it to play. It worked for a TD and yet he continued to berate the OC saying he was a "genius" etc.

Since it wasn't his call, he gets upset about it? Give me a break. I'm not saying that he loses sleep over it, but MOST people understand what I mean about it.

The guys EGO is HUGE. HE wants the credit for success and NONE of the blame for lack of success. It seems as though everyone else is to blame for the lack of success.

I think you are thinking of Tom Coughlin.

And just the other day Parcells said I have to do a better job. Key word "I"
