I've been hopeful for the changes this team needs for decades. Unfortunately, I'm convinced this team will always be run (GM'd) by a Jones boy and thus critically hamstrung in a salary capped league.

A new set of coaches and a legit QB will help this team be more successful, but I don't think this team will ever have long term sustained high-end play when it doesn't have a real GM.

People were saying the same thing last year yet nothing really changed. No one here knows what Jerry is thinking.

Speaking of Jerry, my excitement about any such changes will be tempered by his involvement. He's done little to inspire confidence this century.
