I think they are pretty nice - what yall think?

I actually like that uniform alot... Most of the time I hate changes but thats a pretty cool looking uniform...

On a side note Nike changed a few NCAA teams towards the end of the year, TCU I know was one of them and their new uni's were pretty freaking awesome as well.. I wonder if thats whats goin on here? I doubt it though because of the NFL's contract with Reebok...

It's nice but has no character and has been doen coutless times before by non NFL teams. There are three teams over here that have various black and something strips. Boooring.

I think Arizonans will still not be able to relate to a Cardinals mascot since we don't have cardinals in Arizona for the most part. At the same time these sudden bandwagon fans might buy more merchandise because black sells. They need something after the retirement of Kurt Warner because I think the Cardinals are headed to familiar Bidwell territory, last in their division. Not this year, but that is the direction.

I've never seen a black cardinal. The mascot is red, the team color is red, the jersey needs to be red. Or they can change the mascot.

The Phainopepla is often called a "Black Cardinal" because of its' similarities. It is actually found year round in South East Arizona and seaonally in other parts of the state. However, I don't think the local fan base would rally behind the "Arizona Phainopeplas" so they will probably keep the name the same.

Is that for a select game or is this their new color for all their games?

I stand corrected -- thanx.

If they change the color of the bird on the helmet to black, then I guess I'd be OK with it, but I promise you, everyone in the country outside of AZ will be asking the same thing I did: "whoever heard of a black cardinal"?

not smart playing in arizona in black..... if i was a home team with an outdoor stadium playing a day game I'd make the Cards wear those.

ive always felt they should be the Arizona Roadrunners, Rattlers, Vipers, Sidewinders, Scorpions, Wolves, Coyotes, Pumas......would fit much better than Cardinals.

Should the Lakers or Utah Jazz have to change their names? They don't have any lakes in LA. :D
