I have a friend in the Cardinals orginization that was in town for the weekend and while tossing a few back and talking football he mentioned the Cardinals "might" have intrest in Ken Hamlin and Julius Jones.

I dont believe hamlin is going anywhere. Julius jones would make sense though. Especially since he stays there in the offseason.

Jones was close with the Todd Haley. You can put two and two together from there.

True. When we play them, in Arizona, it's almost like a home game.

Overwhelmingly most of us agree that Julius Jones won't be back in a Cowboy uniform next season. But I gotta tell you that I'm going to be really ticked if he has a really good season.

I've actually heard speculation that they wanted to maybe move Rolle to FS, although that's probably just like our situation with henry....never gonna happen.

I think they'd pursue a truer free safety, maybe.

I've read the same thing about Rolle, SP. So, there may be some legs to the Hamlin speculation.

I thought that the Rolle situation would make it more unlikely that they would pursue Hamlin, as they already have adrian Wilson at SS.

unless the cards line opens up running lanes 5 yards wide regularly, he wont have a good season.

More than likely, they're just trying to shore up their defensive backfield. And bringing over Hamlin gives them options just in case Wilson doesn't fully recover.

Sure because when James is 90 there will be bionics they can install in him to have a productive career. James is used up. I doubt he will gain another 1000 yards again. I doubt they are looking to replace James with Jones. Probably just have a decent two back system.

Just a little tidbit. James fumbled the ball 5 times this season. Julius has fumbled the ball 5 times in the last 3 years combined.

Rolle was looked at as a possible safety or corner coming out of college. Several on this board wanted to draft him as a FS. I see him more as a true safety than I do Henry.
