Arkansas State DE Alex Carrington recorded forty times of 4.93 and 4.97 at his pro day workout on Thursday.

Carrington was injured for Arkansas State's March 17 pro day, hence the delay. He also recorded a 33-inch vertical jump, 10'2" broad jump, 4.81 short shuttle, and 7.64 three-cone drill. Combined with an impressive Senior Bowl performance, the athletic lineman has vaulted into second- or third-round consideration.

I think he has more upside than those two. He is far less polished than either, but we wouldn't need him for much this year. I'd rather have Houston in the 2nd though.
