Ok, I am going to be an armchair quarterback today. I think it was a mistake to dump Vanderjack with a 70+% lifetime average for Gramatica with a 60% and out of the game for two years. Sure I think he saved the game for us with the Giants but I think Vanderjack will get back in step and we will regret it. I just do not think Gramatica is the answer but I think he did a good job last week.
I will also go on record as saying that Romo is much better than I thought and right now I think the only Qb I would trade for him even would be Vince Young. I think Vince has the potential to be one of the best ever.
Last year and the year before I thought Indy was the best team in the league but they were not able to pull it off. This year they do not have what it takes. They should have made the most of it when they had the chance.
San Diego is looking very good right now and Dallas is getting better. Tonights game will tell us a bunch about what the Cowboys are made of. I thought the Cowboys would be 8-8 or maybe 9-7, Romo has changed all of that and after tonight the remaining schedule is fairly soft.
The Cowboys have had one of the worst offensive lines in the league since 2000 and they are even playing much better with Romo in there?? What up wit Dat? Flozell is still getting way too many costly penalties but he is blocking a little better.
As for TO dropping all of those balls it was not his fault they hit him in a bad place..... The Hands. That guy in my opinion like Gramatica is NOT going to save the Cowboys.
Romo just might be though....... Right now the Cowboys are a good, well rounded team. Not great in any area but not real bad in any iether, we have a chance now for the first time since before Troy left. Curly

Romo for Young? LoL. to others on this board it may seem reasonable-to me its a laughing matter. Ill take a qb who can make every throw in the pocket ANY day of the week over a guy with wheels and an iffy arm.

Yea, I mean, Vanderjagt is the most accurate kicker in NFL history. But that's it, he is the most accurate in nfl HISTORY. He didn't win us any games in the past, we are playing in the present. I was happy when we signed vanderjagt, but I also thought that he was going to kick like he did in the past. That didn't happen, and in the middle of the playoff chase, we can't wait for him to "come around".

Same here, how many running QBs have won a super bowl????

I also disagree that cutting Vanderjagt was a mistake, you (original poster) underestimate what losing confidence does to you, has anyone signed Mike yet, or even tried him out???? I go to a college called the San Diego Golf Academy, my career is going to be in golf, and you NEED confidence to play, if you have none, you are gonna suck, plain and simple, Vanderjagt lost all of that when he missed that kick against Pitt last year...
