Never said it did. My opinion os Smith has been the better player over the last two years even when Martin has been healthy. You are welcome to disagree
I wasn't responding to your opinion. You responded to mine with your own opinion. I'm just saying that's pointless.

Someday, the Cowboys will figure out that you build a football team from the trenches out. We have a lot of hopium on the OL right now. Our best player retired. Steele isn't any good and our rookie LT last year was anything but promising. We might need to move Guyton over to right tackle. So OL makes a whole lot of sense here. If it's not OL it needs to be DL. We need a pass rusher and it wouldn't hurt to have a DT who can actually hold up against the run.
Well, recent history has shown that Dallas knows about building the OL with premium picks, so 50% of the trenches.

The 2010's draft classes had 3 1st round picks on the OL, and Collins who was a 1st round grade talent.
2020's, we are 5 draft classes in, and 2 1st rounders have been used on OL, and another 2 1st rounders on a DL-Parsons is an edge player.

Absolutely. Day one starter at RG. Can kick out to RT in 2026 if Steele gets cut
