I'm going to the Oklahoma-BYU game labor day weekend and I'll have 3 hours to kill around the new stadium before the game. Are there any places within walking distance to hang out, watch football, eat, and drink a few?

IF you are looking for Sports bar, I am not sure. But there are restaurants around to sit and drink and watch a game or tow.

Yes, plenty of places.
On Collins North of the stadium, many places in Lincoln Square. Sherlocks, TGIF, Swamp Daddies.
Sherlocks is a pretty big place, and nice.

Yes, that's what I'm hoping. So there are restaurants with TVs within a couple of blocks of the parking lots?

Awesome, very nice. Any season ticket-holders here going to the game?

Isn't there a Hooter's in Arlington?

I say go to your web browser and type Sports Bars Arlington, Texas and see what you come up with.

BTW, BYU is going to dominate the 4th quarter of that game...

OU is only going to win 55 - 17......getting outscored 17 - 3 in the 4th.

I'm sure we can find something in Lincoln Square or near it to occupy our time. Thanks a lot for the help!

Do it in google maps or mapquest is best.

There's a lot of places at Lincoln Square, and I believe the Hooters is right next to it.

I heard Jerry is actually advertising the OU game as "be the first to see the biggest fraud in College football".

I was shocked little itty bitty game Bob agreed to that.

I was going through my "Ignore" list a few months ago, and I found myself wondering, "Why do I have CATCH17 on Ignore? I don't even remember why I put him there. I should take him off. He seems like a good enough guy."

Now I remember. :D
