Now, I'm not entirely sure how recent this is, but I just saw it and thought it was very interesting.

The NFC East keeps itself fairly clean. The AFC North, on the other hand.

Geez, 40 arrests in 12/13 years. That's 3 players a year!

Clear which teams really look hard and make decisions based on character and those that don't. When you have such a wide margin- its not hard to figure out why.

Interesting to see the raiders so low on this list comparatively.

And also interesting to note that every SB winner of the past 10 years is either halfway down this list or lower as regards numbers

I wonder if one reason the Texans are so low on the list is because they simply didn't exist as an actively playing NFL team in 2000 and 2001.

Although even still, based off of the statistical trend, the Texans would most likely rank near the bottom of the league even if they did exist those two years.

A lot of people who claim to be fans of the nfl would be shocked that the Cowboys weren't up their with the Bengals. I on the other hand am happy to be able to shock a few of those very same people with this graph, sharing where needed throughout various forums. Thanks to the op for posting this.

What the hell is going on in Denver?

Had no clue.

Well, I live in Utah right next to Colorado and we get lots of news coming out of Denver...and yeah, although Denver is a nice city, it's not so nice at the same time.

And, there is always a funny saying I learned when I moved to Utah.

"How come Salt Lake City does not have a pro football team? Because Denver would want one too"

I need to know how they are counting. Are they counting arrests while in that team's uniform or counting total arrests for players on the roster.

For instance, say Pacman Jones has 8 arrests in his NFL career. Do those arrests from his Titan and Cowboy days carry over to the BengaIs?

You really have to factor in severity as well. Brent would be top 10 in a list there IMO.

Denver has one the very best NFL franchises and fan bases out there.
I'm not a fan, but that seems way off base.

I had the same question.
Have to admit though, there for about 4-5 years, Cincy was pretty comical. it's settled down there in last few years.

I'm sure this will end the stereotyping of the Cowboys as a bunch of thugs. Um ... probably not. Since when has truth mattered?

Whenever I go back home to Colorado, it's Broncos EVERYTHING. They have one of, if not the best fanbase in the NFL. If folks in Utah really say that, it sounds like they're just jealous because they're seen as CO's irrelevant little brother. lol

The AFC West seems to top the list, while the AFC South outside of Houston is giving the West a run for its money. 11 of the top 16 are AFC teams, including 8 of the top 10. It is nice to see Dallas near the bottom of the list.....we would be lower if not for Badwich, Ratliff, and Brent.

Well I wasn't talking about the city, I was talking about the team. I didn't realize they were that littered with arrests. As far as the city goes, I don't think the crime rate really matters in relation to the players. These guys are immediately in the top 5-10% as far as income is concerned even on a rookie minimum wage, likely live in affluent areas, have highly structured routines and highly visible lives. They're recognized everywhere they go and have support structures that don't exist for the average person. St. Louis is almost always one of the more crime-prone cities in the nation and their team is tied for best in the NFL over the span.

As far as the saying, I've never heard that before and I'm not even sure what it would infer. Must be some old timers thing from way back when SLC was granted something and Denver followed.

I didn't realize the Vikings were the losers they are. That's what they get for wearing purple.

Vikings are probably skewed from their little boat adventure a few years back. Lol
