"THE SUPER BOWL ESPN DOESN'T WANT YOU TO SEE"

On Feb 3rd 2008 the Super Bowl that ESPN doesn’t want to see could be taking place. What is that matchup you ask?
The New England Patriots
Vs.
The Dallas Cowboys
The reason they don’t want you to see it is because for the last decade they have been shoving this prevailing thought down out throats:
RANDY MOSS & TERRELL OWENS ARE TEAM KILLERS!!!!!!!!
No beating around the bush with the bias mainstream media T.O. & The Freak were pariahs. No team could ever possibly succeed with these two cancers on the payroll.
Very often ESPN and other members of the bias mainstream media would use this phrase to describe how it could be seen as a positive when an organization would get rid of Owens & Moss for pennies on the dollar:
“ADDITION BY SUBTRACTION”
In essence saying that the teams these so called pariahs leave would be better off without their immense talent. Let’s look a little deeper into this.
Terrell Owens left the San Francisco 49ers in 2004. Since then they have been one of the worse teams in the league, a franchise in disarray who is an embarrassment to the great 49ers teams of the 80’s and early 90’s.
He was suspended by the Philadelphia Eagles in the middle of the 2005 season. At that time he was in a battle with QB Donovan McNabb, Head Coach Andy Reid & Eagles Management. Owens claimed that McNabb was not a leader, Eagles Management played favorites and Head Coach Andy Reid was treating him like one of his sons.
Since then many have questioned McNabb leadership going as far as stating that they would have preferred Jeff Garcia as their QB and management showed their faith in McNabb by drafting a QB in the 1st round of this years draft. Eagles Management has been called out by several players as being grossly unfair in its treatment of certain players. While Andy Reid handling of T.O. as one of his kids turned out as well as him handling his own kids.
The Eagles now are a team on the decline that have let their opportunity for glory pass because they were hardheaded in their dealing with Owens.
When Owens went to Dallas he instantly clashed with head coach Bill Parcells. Throughout the year the media hounded and assailed the Cowboys for signing Owens. When his accidental overdose took place we had sports commentators acting like they were House coming up with all type of diagnosis on his mental state. Every drop was analyzed to a forensic file level. With all of that swirling the Cowboys still made the playoffs and were a fumble PAT from winning their playoff game.
After the year was over once again the bias mainstream media in an overwhelming majority boasted loudly that T.O. should go. Also they boasted loudly that Parcells should stay and that it was Owens not Parcells who was to blame for all the Cowboys trouble. So called NFL experts like Sean Salisbury & Tom Jackson said it was be a huge mistake for the Cowboys to bring back Owens and the franchise would be doomed without Parcells as their coach.
Funny thing happen, Parcells was the one that was given the boot. Ironically once Parcells left many players not just Owens stated the obvious that it was Parcells old school ways that affected the team way more the Owens’s theatrics.
Now with Wade Phillips in tow the Cowboys are the class of the NFC and a big reason for that is Terrell Owens. Coaches, teammates, front office executives are all in agreement that the so-called “Team killer” is now a “Team Leader” even though no one from ESPN would ever let you know that.
Randy Moss is a freak. The Minnesota Vikings were good before Randy Moss came into the fold they were great afterwards. Moss unlike T.O. has had a lot more off the field incidents combined with some on the field ones as well. Talent was never in question but his desire to play hard has been even by one Bonafide Sports Expert.
With that being said when the Vikings traded Moss for the #7 pick in the draft and LB Napoleon Harris to the Oakland Raider in 2005 I remember writing in my daily “Truth Rants” that the Vikings won’t be good again for the next 10 years.
I vividly remember the brother of LB Napoleon Harris chastising me via email for saying that you don’t trade one of the premier WRs in the game for the #7 pick in the draft and a 9th string LB (I guess he didn’t like my humor). I also vividly remembering a year later him emailing back apologizing.
The Vikings have only now started to get back on the nations radar because they drafted the next Bo Jackson, but if you can name me one WR on their squad right now I will give you a bootleg copy of Britney Spears sex tape.
But once again unlike Owens who has had immediate success on every new team he has went to it didn’t go that way for Moss and the Raiders. There is no other way to say it than the facts are that Moss quit on the Raiders. He quit to the extent that he had me fooled that his skill had diminished to a point he could not be considering a dominant receiver anymore (even I am wrong from time to time). Don’t be fooled though Moss was not the only one on the Oakland Raiders who found it hard to get up for an organization that is being ran by a man who might actually be dead (see: Al Davis). That isn’t an excuse but it will speak to a greater point that I will make later on.
The Patriots got Moss for nothing. Lets not sugarcoated it they gave the Raiders absolutely nothing. You talk about the reward outweighing the risk this was the perfect case. Once again the bias sports media explained that it could never work with Moss and the Patriots. He was the anti-Patriot, he was me-first, he was selfish and most importantly he was a “TEAM KILLER”.
Last time I checked the Patriots were in contention to go 16-0 and Moss could be considered the MVP of the league. I have not heard one negative word spoken about Moss this year and if anything it has been all praised from coaches, teammates and the front office. Moss has been continually been called a “TEAM LEADER”.
So what does it all mean?.......................................
